Good Product and Value
This is almost identical scent to Red Tobacco Intense from the niche perfume house Mancera, which is a tremendous albeit somewhat polarizing fragrance. It doesnât last as long on the skin as red Tobacco, but it smells great and is a perfect winter fragrance for those who like a spicy accord. Red Tobacco Intense retails for $190 at Bloomingdale/Nordstrom and this is very similar fragrance for a LOT less money from a grooming company that makes excellent menâs grooming products.

Lasting scent not to sweet or to woodsy .
I absolutely love the scent of this. It’s a very good sandalwood. Not too sweet or too strong or too incense like. Scent seems to last a decent amount of time. Very pleased with it, especially for the price

Midday Dream !
Love the smell, and My Nurse loves it to! I even took a mid day Shower just to put it on !

What an absolute disappointment
I was so excited to try this. Sandalwood is one of my all time favorite scents and I do collect many different variations.I just received this today. It was packaged very nicely. Gorgeous heavy fairly large glass bottle that feels nice in your hand. Has a classy look to it and it presents as a much higher quality product than the price.I couldn’t wait to spray it on! Unfortunately after spraying there is a slight burst reminiscent of citrus and then nothing. Absolutely no scent. I might as well have sprayed on water. I sprayed it again on my wrists and neck but again it dried and left no scent. Not even a hint of sandalwood or anything for that matter. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am. A complete waste of money. I feel bad to have to leave this review since this is a small business but with the economy today I have to be honest and tell you do not waste your money. I am glad I purchased this for myself because if I had gifted it to someone I would be completely embarrassed.By all appearances this would LOOK like a very nice gift but I feel ripped off because it’s not like I can give it to my son because I don’t like the smell, it’s because there is NO smell. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what buy I definitely will not purchase any more products from this company and I cannot recommend it at all. It’s also non returnable so I am stuck with it. I’m not even sure how to dispose of it since throwing it away isn’t environmentally safe.Very unhappy with this purchase.

Appreciation of scents, like taste in comedy, is completely subjective.
I really wanted to like this cologne. With a brand name like Viking Revolution, and a scent like Sandlewood, I hoped I would be able to feel the sea breeze on my face, the earthy aroma of a wooden ship deck, and the dark muskiness of a keg of ale as my fellow explorers and I passed pints around the mess hall. Sadly, that’s not the case. Something’s amiss here. It’s too light. It’s too flowery. It’s too “grandma at the church social with Edna and Hazel, smelling gardenias and drinking tea.” It’s also not terribly strong. Don’t get me wrong; I don’t need a scent to grab me by the nostrils and throw me down the stairs. But, for me, I don’t want it to smell like I’m sitting next to Grandma Pearl as she slips me butterscotch treats and pinches my cheek as we wait for the sermon to end. The good thing – and the bad thing – is that the scent of this cologne does linger. I like to have the scent of a good cologne stay with me throughout the day; the problem for me with this scent is that I’d rather not have Grandma Pearl hanging around all day. Now, this is a great scent if you like light, flowery, and something vaguely reminiscent of ol’ gran’s rose bushes. But I was looking for something more earthy, more dark, more warm and, for me, this isn’t it.EDITED TO ADD: After posting the review, the Company offered a full refund, which I truly appreciate, but which I’m declining. It’s very big of the Company to offer the refund, and it’s truly appreciated. But I took the chance on the cologne, and that’s on me, not them. There is nothing wrong with the cologne, or the scent; I’m sure it’s fine for some, as the various 5 star reviews make clear. It’s just not for me, and in my review, I tried to explain why by describing what I didn’t like. I’m hopeful my descriptions will help other shoppers looking for particular scents.

Scent is NOT Sandalwood
The scent is NOT Sandalwood. The scent is cedar. If you want the smell of a hope chest or a freshly cut cedar tree, this is the cologne for you. Not for me!

Not for me, but made a nice gift
I’ll be honest, this fragrance was totally NOT FOR ME. I wanted to like it but it was way too hard hitting and in the end reminded me of ‘old lady perfume. ‘I like sandalwood and enjoy it around the house as well but it’s something I’ve noticed with brands who make their own scent collections. Some I really like their version of sandalwood and they nail it right on the head while others fall short and miss the mark completely.I wish I had something better to say here but I will say I enjoyed the packaging. It was a really nice bottle and had a great look. That said it took way too long to ship out let alone receive and this was my first experience with this brand. As a guy with a beard who’s constantly looking and trying out new products and brands in this market space, I was kinda excited to finally give these guys a shot.Granted I can’t base my opinion of their entire brand and product line on a single product but, first impressions are everything and I don’t think I’ll be quick to try them again anytime soon.
