Game changer!
I suffer from Chronic Lyme and the damage it has done to my entire system. I was experiencing “crashes” where my heart would palpitate, every inch of me hurt, my entire body would feel like it was vibrating. I’ve come to associate that feeling with being toxic and needing to detox my entire body, which is a problem for me. My son, an extreme athlete, told me that when I described my symptoms of the crash, it sounded like what he experiences after a really hard workout or an Iron Man. He told me it was due to dehydration and electrolyte depletion. He recommended Ican, it was the best buy with no sugar or harmful additives. I now drink more water than before and take 2 doses of the ICAN over the course of the day. My crashes have stopped. I’m feeling much better overall and am grateful for the epiphany.

Good for keto
This was recommended by my trainer to help keep my electrolytes up. I eat keto and your electrolytes can get off balance pretty quick while youâre working out AND on keto. The price is about average; there are certainly cheaper alternatives but the ones I looked at didnât make the cut for me – ingredients I didnât like and/or too many bad reviews. The flavor is pretty good. I prefer salty tastes to sweet tastes, and really donât like the taste of candy or koolaid or any similar junk, so am glad that itâs not crazy sweet. I mix one scoop into a full sized shaker bottle full of cold water and take during/after workouts and during spa time. The container is small (so at first I was skeptical about its value) but it works out well because itâs easy to pack around. Donât leave it open or get it wet; it can get crusty.

Decent 0 Calorie Electrolyte Mix!
I like this electrolyte mix because it really just helps give that extra “spark” to my day and helps me stay hydrated. The taste isn’t my favorite but I am able to drink it fine. It is better than Powerade zero or Gatorade zero because it does not have those artificial dyes. I will be buying this from now on.

for me, a nice sugar-free alternative
I have been using Liquid IV watermelon as my electrolyte supplement, but wanted to go sugar free and was looking something with more magnesium. I found UCAN and it had some recommendations on a website I like as well as decent reviews here on Amazon. I was skeptical as it seemed like not everyone liked the taste of any flavor than berry (which I intend to try). I was pleasantly surprised. It is a little on the sweet side (sweetened with stevia), but I still like the flavor. Same as with LIV, I dilute it more than directed. For both, I add one packet to 32 oz of water and then even dilute further as I drink it down. I just like light flavor in the background rather than something super strong. I also ordered the pineapple flavor, but haven’t tried it yet. I will leave a separate review for that – I am more skeptical of that taste because the reviews were pretty bad…so we’ll see. Next I’ll order the berry and I’m also not done exploring other brands before I settle on my fav. I like that his has no sugar though, lower sodium, and more magnesium so this could end up being my go-to.

One major flaw
Product is awesome and taste great. However, the issue is that they donât add desiccants inside the containers. So after opening and closing the lid a number of times, things inside start to clump up. Itâs a hinderance at first, annoying over time, and ultimately impossible to scoop anything out. You have to put more effort each time. Your usage may vary, but sometimes itâs already clumping with half the powder still unused. My belief is that how ever long you keep the lid open, the powder immediately wicks up the moisture in the air. This would easily be solved with a desiccant.I contacted customer support, and gave them the suggestion that they should add a desiccant inside. The rep was nice about it and said thatâs not something they can do. She recommended that maybe i should buy the individual packs instead, and offered to send me a sample. I didnât take them up on their offer. In my opinion, they had a perfectly fine product but just needed one major change. I didnât like being asked to buy a more expensive product as an alternative. I felt like I already lost money each time I used this product already, since they all clumped up in the end, so Iâm done.Best of luck to the company. Iâve found Ultima as a suitable alternative and havenât bought any UCAN electrolyte products since. If you buy this, please be aware of this issue.

Longtime UCAN user & runner
I have been using UCAN SuperStarch for as long as I can remember since it is a slow burning carb and it has worked very well. I only recently tried UCAN Hydrate. I have been doing 2-2.5 hour runs in the Texas summer heat and needed a better way to deal with dehydration than plain water. This product does it. I freeze a bottle and carry it wrapped in a small cloth so it will defrost during the run.My wife recently had surgery and needed electrolytes on a regular basis. She also adopted UCAN Hydrate and has enjoyed it.We both have recently converted to a Ketogenic diet and required extra hydration to avoid constipation. Again, UCAN Hydrate met the need. Our favorite flavors are Watermelon and Strawberry/Kiwi. I also tried orange. I am not much of a fan of the traditional orange and berry flavors in so many running formulas.I recommend UCAN Hydrate and have made it one of my monthly subscriptions.

Awful
I am a fan of Ucan gels, so decided to try these electrolyte packets. I use various electrolyte drink powders, and these from Ucan are terrible – frankly the worst. The flavor is terrible and the powder does not, will not dissolve â no matter how much water is added. I tried the recommendation I have approximately 20 ounces⦠But even after over 32 ounces and a lot of shaking âthe powder still did not dissolve. I am so let down with these and now that Iâve opened them, I cannot return. Glad I only bought the sample box pack.

I like the product but somehow feel it is little too expensive for what we get.
