Both my daughter and I use this daily. We love the way our tongue feels after scraping the gunk off and weâve noticed an improvement (decrease) in plaque on our teeth when we wake up in the morning. Only con which isnât a big deal is that it looks tarnished after having air dried it vs drying off with a towel.

I got a pair of these copper tongue scrapers for my girlfriend and I. This was my first metal tongue scraper. Prior to this, I had been using plastic one’s, which seemed to work pretty well. This one works waaay better, at least to me. It took a bit of getting used to, bit it definitely gets more gunk off my tongue than the plastic one did. I can see, taste, and feel the difference, and I actually look forward to using it every day.My girlfriend, on the other hand, has used a Dr. Tung stainless steel scraper before using this one. She likes the Dr. Tung better, saying that this doesn’t scrape off quite as much. Maybe at some point, I’ll get a Dr. Tung so I can have the same basis for comparison as her.I thought we would have to polish these regularly, but the copper has developed a visually pleasing, multi-colored patina. So that’s an unexpected plus.

looks terrible
I was worried about this tarnishing and looking gross and that’s exactly what happened. I bought it maybe a month ago and I’m already about to throw it out bc of how gross it looks in my bathroom. I wipe it after use but the bathroom is a more humid environment. It just didn’t last. Other than the appearance it seems to work well, but I still cant get to a small patch on the back of my tongue due to it’s shape. I have a very small mouth though.

Amazing Little Tool
The long and short of it is that the little tool gets to the root of the matter. I thought the plastic tongue scraper I used helped. This copper tongue scrapper revealed that the plastic one gave basic level service.I was pleasantly surprised at what this tool does. Glad that I got 2 pieces in the the package. No more plastic.
