Maybe doesn’t get my teeth quite as white as the toxic brands, but it’s a gentle, good tasting gel style paste that’s natural, nice to use and still whitens teeth a good bit. I think this is my new regular toothpaste.

I first started using Tom’s of Maine products in the late 70s. My husband was an assistant manager in a health food store, so we were test monkeys for a lot of their products. We used the Tom’s toothpaste for many years. As time went on, I moved on to other toothpastes for various reasons and as a heavy coffee drinker, I focused more on whiteners. So when I saw this I thought to give it a try.The peppermint taste is there, but just barely. It’s definitely not the overwhelming peppermint taste that almost burns. There’s also another subtle taste that is familiar but I just cannot place – but it’s not offensive. The toothpaste is a semi-transparent white color, kinda thin but doesn’t melt into the brush, and it is not gritty tasting at all. Despite the peppermint not being overbearing, my mouth and breath just felt fresher longer.I have a sensitive tooth that always gives me a shot of pain when I first touch toothpaste to the area; however, it didn’t jolt me with this toothpaste. I’ll keep up with it and see how well it whitens as advertised, but for now I’m happy with the taste, the fresh feel, and that it doesn’t hurt my teeth.

Quality Product with a Great Taste
I have tried a lot of other whitening toothpastes that normally taste a bit too harsh. But the Whiten+ tastes great and is also great value for money. Have always loved the quality of Tomâs of Maine and this one is right up there with the best!

I’ve used peppermint toothpaste before, and I was using a peppermint/spearmint blend up till I started using this Tom’s toothpaste. But wow, this toothpaste is intense! I can use it, but I have to grit my teeth, especially when I brush my tongue. My son won’t even touch it â way too spicy for him. I’ll finish these three tubes, but I definitely won’t be buying it again.On the plus side, it leaves my breath super fresh and my mouth feeling really clean and cool.
