I recently discovered Think Sport Clear Zinc Sunscreen SPF 50, and it has completely won me over. Nontoxic and high SPF, but need some extra steps to avoid greasiness and white cast
I chose this product because it was the only sunscreen I could find with a high SPF and a high rating on Yuka and EWG that is still affordable. It does go on heavy on the face and leaves a slight white cast, but I found that I can disguise that with a little extra work. First, I really rub the product in well. Then I layer on some liquid tinted bronzer. After letting that dry for a few minutes, I add a little mattifying primer to my oily T-zone, and then apply my makeup. I still don’t love the feel of this, but it’s worth it to protect my skin from damage and skin cancer, and yet not give myself other cancers and endocrine disruption from toxic chemicals in the process. I definitely haven’t found anything else that fits those criteria without breaking the bank, so I will keep using this.

Clean ingredients!
I’ve been using this for the past month. I love it! I bought it originally cause of the clean Ingredients and was pleasantly surprised. It does have a slight white tint, but I am so pale it’s not noticeable. It also gives the skin a glowy look that some may call “greasy” but it does absorb into the skin after 20 minutes. I love this product and it is now my everyday face/ neck sunblock!

The zinc is clear!
It takes a bit of time to rub in especially if you use a lot. But once rubbed in, the white cast is very minimal on my fair-light skin. It really melts in once it warms up. You almost couldn’t tell I have anything on, except for the fact that it does cling to dry patches a bit. So it is best to start with exfoliated, moisturized skin to minimize that issue. It does make me look a little paler, so I would still prefer to mix it with something tinted to negate the white cast completely and give my face some healthy color. Can’t comment on the sun protection since I haven’t worn it outside yet. Based on the appearance alone, this is one of my top favorite water-resistant mineral sunscreens (I have tried several). It feels quite heavy when rubbing it in, but that does not bother me. If they made a tinted version of this while still using clear zinc, I would be in heaven. It is also pretty affordable.

I bought this one for my kids mainly because we find that the Thinkbaby one has a sweet scent that attract bees – my child and I literally get chased by bees constantly with Thinkbaby sunscreen on. This Thinksport one still has a scent but not as sweet, and we get no more bees chasing us. Yes, it does give you a white cast but it is unavoidable since it is a MINERAL sunscreen. We are okay it, the white cast does go away after 20-30 mins after application. Overall, the sunscreen works great for us and love this pocket size for bringing out on a day trip.

I’m not a huge fan of how thick this stuff goes on but I love how safe it is with no crazy chemicals. Kids have been wearing all summer with no burns! (And me too ).
