Stay Put Tinted Brow Mousse – Soft Brown

Excellent at defining my light colored brows
I tint my eyebrows, but always use something else to help define them a bit more, especially as the color begins to fade.The product applies easily and it doesn’t leave clumps behind—the brush is great. The color blends well with my ashe/blonde/auburn brows (and some white!) and it stays put all day. It washes off easily with a cotton round/ball and micellar water and/or a good cleanser. I love that it helps define by brows and fills them in, in the sense that it tints the light colored brows that would otherwise be practically invisible.This is an excellent product and although I’ve used similar products that work just as well, and at a lower price, this is still a great buy, and much less than some other brands I’ve used in the past.

Lightweight, Natural Brow Gel
I’ve been on the hunt for a good eyebrow gel that’s both affordable and effective, and this Milani Stay Put Tinted Brow Mousse in Soft Brown definitely fits the bill. The shade is a perfect match for my dark brown hair, without leaning too warm like some brow gels can. I love that it’s lightweight and doesn’t leave my brows feeling crunchy or stiff, but still holds them in place pretty well. It’s easy to work with, especially when I wipe off the excess before applying. I can layer it without it feeling heavy or clumpy, and it lasts pretty well through the day without flaking off.The wand does grab a bit of extra product right off the bat which I have to be sure to wipe off before applying, which takes some getting used to, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. It does take a few minutes to dry, so I don’t go touching my brows right after applying, but it stays put once it’s set. It’s also easy to remove when I wash my face, but it doesn’t fade during the day. I’ve found that with minimal product, it lasts a long time, so I’m getting great value out of this tube. If you’re looking for something that’s affordable, natural-looking, and long-lasting, this is a solid pick!

Nice, but not what I was looking for.
I was looking for something like Arches and Halo’s microfiber tinted brow mousse. I didn’t want something to completely fill in my eyebrows and the skin underneath them but just to make them more pronounced. But if that’s what your looking for this is a good product.

So Far So Good
I’ve tried a few different eyebrow products that come in little mascara type containers, and this one is my favorite so far. The color actually makes it onto my eyebrows without being clumpy, and I can add more in places that need it. It takes a few minutes to dry, depending on how much you use of course. I do use a pencil first for the sparse areas, then I use this. I’m still practicing making my brows look better, but so far I’ve found that I like this product better than any other of this type I have tried.I haven’t had it on while sweating though, so I can’t say how well it’ll hold up to that. It does come off fairly easily when I wash my face though, but doesn’t really seem to fade much during the day. With that being said, I don’t really go out a lot so I haven’t had the chance to really give it the “going out” test.I noticed that if I use too much, some does come off when I wipe my eyebrows with my hand. But I also haven’t wiped each time I’ve worn it, so maybe it just does that?Either way, I think since we all have different skin, etc. you won’t really know if you’ll like it unless you try it.
