Good for what I needed, but the flavor does not last
I wanted this gum because studies have shown xylitol reduces tooth decay (see Wikipedia quote below). I put this in my kids’ lunch, because they have had some issues with cavities, and despite my begging that they brush at lunch, I am very sure they are not. I take this gum also, and I chew it after my lunch. I know my kids will chew this, even if the flavor doesn’t last long, because it’s gum- and all gum is better than no gum. On the negatives side, if you are looking for a gum that stays soft and chewy and flavorful for a long time, this isn’t it. I like the flavor- it’s not bitter like some cinnamon gums, but I can’t say it lasts long. I chew it, feel it freshens my breath and may help my teeth, and the pretty quickly, when it starts to taste like unflavored rubber, I spit it out.what follows is from wiki:Xylitol is a “toothfriendly” sugar. I purchased both the cinnamon and spearmint gums as a first-time buyer after hearing rave reviews about the brand.I’m disappointed in the spearmint. The flavor only last around 30-45 seconds and only stays soft for around 90 seconds, then gets rock hard. Will not be purchasing this flavor again.I LOVE the cinnamon though! The flavor last a solid 90+ seconds then lingers and the gum stays soft the entire time you’re chewing it. I’ve chewed pieces for 20+ minutes. Which is unlike me.

This is the perfect gum that you want to share with your friends
So here’s what we do with this gum…it’s our sharing gum. You ever had friends that see you have gum in your car and this type of friend likes to eat two or three pieces at a time dwindling your gum supply, forcing you to do more gum shopping trips back to Costco? Well, this is the perfect gum and price point to share with anyone and everyone. I keep this gum in my car because of the price and it’s a good breath refresher.Note: The gum texture is stiff, flavor runs out quick, but the saving grace is three-fold.1. On Amazon, for 100 pack it’s super cheap.2. It’s supposed to be good for you because of the Xylitol.3. Short lived flavor means it’s yummy candy you don’t swallow.
I’ve read the reviews and agree this gum is great. It doesn’t have the sugar, it helps with dental defense and it has a great flavor. Sure, the flavor doesn’t last that long. But, I love the “Hot Tamale” candy. This tastes just like those. So, I chew a couple pieces and then spit it out when the flavor dies. Gets rid of my sweet tooth, safely, and without the sugar. I just look at it as not being a gum and as being a candy that I can’t swallow. It’s all about perception.

Not The Best But Not The Worst
I can’t really decide how I feel about the gum yet so I’m just going to leave a neutral review with my experience.The gum sizes are a little too small for my liking so I generally take 2 at a time. So for me there is 50 servings per container which is a fairly good deal and lasts quite a while.The flavor is really good, not too strong and not too weak and great bold cinnamon flavor. The downfall is that it doesn’t last very long which is probably in the fact that it’s not flavored by a bunch of artificial junk. So kind of a trade off.It’s pretty hard when you first start chewing on it but relaxes after a few minutes.It does have a strange aftertaste and oral feeling after you spit the gum out but after a while you get used to it and it’s not that bad. I think it’s just the type of sweetener.Overall the gum is very different from traditional in store gum. Flavor doesn’t last quite as long, has a different aftertaste and material is a little different. The trade off is the ingredients are much healthier for your teeth and my mouth actually feels cleaner at the end of the day. I don’t have a sugar plaque feeling on my teeth. I think that’s why I have trouble deciding if I like it or not. Unhealthy but flavorful or healthy and not as flavorful.
