Menopause sucks! My skin has changed and my hair is thinning. I’ve tried a few collagen creamers / peptides which also had “added” protein, but Sports Research Multi Collagen Powder won in the end. This powder dissolves easily and has very little aftertaste. Since it has no “added” protein or flavors, it’s also low in calories and carbs. I’ve read that multi collagen is best especially when it includes all five types, not just one or two. This powder also contains hyaluronic acid which helps with healthy joints, which is an added benefit because along with menopause, comes arthritis! I add one scoop to my morning coffee along with some stevia and cream. Wish it wasn’t so expensive but as they say, you get what you pay for. I’ll update my review in a year or so if progress with my hair and skin is unaffected, but I hope for the best! ð

Sensitive nose: Doesn’t give a funk
I just got this today, so I can’t speak to the effects yet. I incorporated it into my coffee and I can’t taste or smell it. (I feel like that’s a big deal because I can smell things most people don’t pick up on.) Smell/flavor is one of the biggest deterrents to me using a product, so I’m super excited about it.If you’re on the fence, spend the money and give it a try.

I experience hair loss/thinning and arthritis throughout my body as a result of a pituitary tumor. My joints ache after prolonged use and my vertebrae hurt after standing for 30 min. I started putting 1 scoop of this powder in my coffee every morning on 9/21.Pros:⢠joint pain has not kept me from doing what I like/need to do⢠hair loss is reduced⢠nails breakage reduced⢠love unflavored as I can add it to anything and not have the stevia aftertasteCons:⢠container is huge so it is only half-filled⢠1 scoop per day = 28 servings not 30; I am diligent about measuring and reordering my 30-day vitamins. After starting on 9/21, have one more serving left for tomorrow, 10/18.

Great Product
I have tried others and they made me nauseous. There is a slight hint of flavor but there is in all unflavored collagen products. If you are sensitive to this I would recommend the pill form. The pills need to be taken with lots of fluid. I did venture to the other forms with just basic collagen to the multi collagen. The multi collagen works the best. Results in stronger nail and thicker healthier hair what I noticed first. My joints are feeling much better also. I use this in my coffee, just one scoop a day. It can be used with a smoothie, in some chicken broth or soup. It dissolves best in hot liquids and mixes well with protein powder. It may feel like you aren’t getting the full amount since the bottle is not completely full when you first open, but there is a 30day supply by scoop if one scoop a day is used. If you choose to use this product more than once a day then you will get less in a month.I would recommend this product.

I have been using this product for a few weeks. In the past I have used other collagen supplements and have had great success. I decided to change to the SR Multi Collagen Protein Powder (Type I, II, III, V, X) with Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C simply because this boasted the Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C. My overall impression.1. Strong Chocolate flavor that throws off my coffee and makes it very muddy! but it tastes great nonetheless2. Easy to mix and dissolve making it a good combination with shakes( protein powders)3. No indicator of any benefits to the body yet ( too early to tell)Truthfully, I don’t think I will continue to buy this cholate flavor, it is more likely that I will revert to a flavorless version.

I started with a different Sports Research collagen powder, but decided to try this one because it offers more types. Both have the same taste/smell which is minimal. I do notice his one takes a little more stirring in my coffee in the morning to be completely dissolved. I am 49 years old and most people think I am in my 30’s. They are shocked when they hear my age. I have been taking collagen for about a year now. I feel like my aging has slowed down, my hair and nails grow faster, and my skin just looks more refreshed. I love this stuff.
