Great smelling aromatherapy shower steamers
I received a box of these same shower steamers last Christmas and because I loved how great they smelled, I sought them out on Amazon and purchased a box to send family for Christmas this year. I highly recommend these shower steamers for everyone from teachers to Aunts, to Gâmas to office Secret Santaâs!

Lightly scented tablets
I have never used a shower steamer tablet before but was eager to try them. This set includes 8 of them. They resemble round disks of soap. They include a nice assortment of scents(rose, vanilla, lavender, chamomile, watermelon, mint, orange and eucalyptus). When you are ready to use you unwrap the paper off and place on the shower flower. The first scent I used was the orange. I turned the shower on and after a few minutes it smelled so nice and fruity in there. It indeed had a citrus scent. The next day though during the shower I smelled only a faint smell of citrus. I also did not notice any steam but I suppose these are mostly to enjoy the scent and have a spa like experience. Next I tried the rose. Initially it gave off a nice flower scent that was lovely. The next shower though there was no scent of rose. I then tried the mint but unfortunately I did not smell much of anything that resembled a mint scent. I love the idea of being able to have a lovely scented shower it just would have been nicer if the scents were more prominent.

Variety of Scents in one box
The Shower Steamers Aromatherapy – 8 Pack Natural Plant Essential Oil Shower Bombs are well scented out of the box and smell like genuine essential oils. I do like that you get.a variety of scents to try to select your favorite one. They are attractively wrapped and boxed and make a great gift for anyone who takes a shower. I did find that they melted quickly and scent dissipated with the bomb even trying to keep out of the shower stream. The concept is as they melt they disperse fragrance intermingled with your shower steam as I chuckled when some posted that they didn’t steam – they are not intended to. I have a larger shower size and was surprised detected the scent and used eucalyptus which is a favorite as many other brands I don’t in this shower so a plus for the density of the scent as these are made to work best in a standard size shower. The Bombs melt on the shower floor, leave no residue and did not experience any nasal irritation. Don’t expect the scent to last long but it is a nice touch but not an everyday item for me. For less than $10 a box a good value and a great gift or stocking stuffer for anyone.

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed in these. The first one I tried was watermelon and it smelled awful. Like industrial cleaner chemical smell that they tried to cover up with some kind of scent. That one was so bad I debated just throwing all the rest of them away without trying them. I did give the vanilla one a shot and it did smell better, but considering I can only get through shampooing my hair before these things are completely gone, I don’t think even the better smelling ones are worth it.

Good starter set, watermelon is a bit sus though!
I consider myself a shower steamer connoisseur because I do not have access to a bathtub full-time (sad…).This set comes with 8 different scents. Excellent if you’re gifting someone who has never tried them.As for the scents, most of them are great except watermelon. I could not even tell what oils were used. It was odd but didn’t smell terrible. You get a variety so if you don’t like it, try the next.***Tips: Without HOT water and enough STEAM, you won’t get the full aromatics. Do you want the full aromatics? Go HOT or bust, it’s a waste otherwise. You are literally dissolving your money.To further emphasize my point: It is now fall here but on the warmer side. I use lukewarm water and I can’t smell a thing while it still dissolves. But when I turn up the heat… Yes, I get the full experience so this is probably better for winter gifting ***

not sure about the scent
I love Shower Steamers, so I grabbed these XSS Natural Plant Essential Oil Tablets as soon as I saw them. Unfortunately, they are not what I expected. The scent is very strong and somewhat artificial. I have only tried the watermelon so far, so I will update this review if the other scents are better. This was so strong, I needed to open the shower door a bit to let in more fresh air. It also left a bit of a slimy white residue which is not great for a shower floor.
