I am in love with this product! I come from an aesthetic background and know how important keeping your makeup tools clean is and I have tried many brush cleaners, none of which compares to this. This cleaner does a wonderful job not only keeping new brushes like new, but also making old neglected brushes like new as well!! This brush cleaner has a great smell as well. I ordered the 2oz bottle and it was well worth the value, it only takes a little to do an extraordinary job. Will be recommending this to my clients, again, great value!

This stuff gets makeup brushes clean; period. I’ve used cinema secrets makeup brush cleaner in the past and I thought it worked pretty well. The downside to that brand is the solution itself. The solution messes with the sprayer, so that eventually the top of the sprayer won’t rise back up.The first time I used Shany Detox Brush Cleanser I became very frustrated. I would spray the brushes and begin wiping the excess makeup on a paper towel. I would do this over and over and there was still so much makeup coming off! Then it dawned on me; this stuff was actually getting ALL of the makeup and germs out. It was cleaning my brushes like they’ve never been cleaned before. My frustration immediately turned to myself when I thought “I can’t believe I’ve been wasting my time with other cleansers that clearly haven’t been doing the job!!”I won’t be wasting time or money on any other product again. Another major plus is the amount in the bottle. I’ve had it only a short time, but it’s clear that it will last a while.A++

Non-irritating & gentle but still works great
I quite like this brush cleaner. It’s fragrance & soap free which is important to me so it doesn’t irritate my skin.Despite being an “all natural” cleaner it actually gets the job done pretty well. The only drawback is the spray nozzle doesn’t spray how I want it to. It sprays almost like a mist and doesn’t release the amount of product I’d like it to so most of the time I just pour it straight from the bottle.

Do. Not. Waste. Your. Money.
I donât leave reviews. This is probably my first Amazon review but I was so shocked that I had to save other people. This product may work as a disinfectant but not as a cleaner. Iâve used Cinema Secrets before and that worked exceptionally well but it is expensive. So I decided to try this instead. I didnât expect the same results but to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I sprayed and sprayed and sprayed and yes some color came off of my brushes but there was still plenty of makeup in the brush. And then less and less makeup was coming out, almost as if it was all clean but I could STILL SEE THE MAKEUP IN THE BRUSH. So I decided to try the last drop of my Cinema Secrets on the same brush to see if it could do anything and the sheer amount of makeup that came out of the brush⦠it was like the Shany one had done nothing. Plus there is some sort of waxy film from it. Please do not waste your money on this product. Especially if you are a person of color. That makeup will never come out. Iâve learned my lesson. Iâll just spend the money next time.

Worked perfectly!
I hate making the mixture of dawn dish soap and olive oil for my brushes and decided to give this a shot because of the high ratings on Amazon. I love it! It worked quick and painlessly, left my brushes clean and revamped, and smells clean to boot! I’m super pleased with this and have attached pictures. Surprise, this brand came through.
I was skeptical because their brushes are terrible. However, this is the best brush cleaner I have used so far. I was using the OG entertainment brands and tired of how much I had to use and how expensive it was. I even made my own brush cleaner from recipes online. With this stuff, I spray once onto a clean towel (the thin kind used for rags generally but soft), swirl the brush over the spot, and then wipe the brush off on a dry section of the towel. I find the process easy to control and I don’t feel like I’m wasting product. I’m impressed.
