Fast drying, Not sticky, Leaves skin feeling amazingly soft
This is the first time I have used aloe Vera gel for my facial skin. Why didnât I know about this years ago? I found out about it after starting Tretinoin on my face for wrinkles and age spots and my dermatologist told me to use aloe Vera gel to moisturize and help ease the burn of the Tretinoin. I decided on Seven Minerals brand because I liked the fact that they are a small company, family owned and I was impressed by their mission statement and philosophy of ensuring highest quality of pure, fresh aloe. Grown in Texas was a plus for me as well since I value buying as local as possible. I have only been using the product a week but, I am loving how soft and silky my skin feels after I apply it. It dries quickly and I feel it tightening my skin as it dries. I am loving it so far. I cannot wait to see what happens in the months to come.

Absorbs well but doesnât smell very good
I just received my aloe vera gel. Was packed very well and I had no issues with any leaks or anything.I have to ask though, am I the only person who cares about how I smell when I put something on my skin? I donât remember seeing any reviewers talking about that, so I guess I assumed, I know youâre not supposed to do that, that it smells good. I realize that, âsmells goodâ is subjective, but I have to believe that most people donât think this smells good. On the other side of that, I donât know what pure aloe vera is supposed to smell like. Donât misunderstand, it doesnât stink, itâs just that ideally this isnât what I want to smell like. All right, enough of that, I would say it does absorb nicely into my skin. Thereâs no greasy sticky residue. Thatâs pretty awesome. I think Iâm going to have to work around the other.
