Cute & Functional
These Lotus Shower Steam Trays by INTERPRO 40 are pretty great. They are well made of silicone and have a lot of little feet to hold your product up and out of any water that would normally accumulate and cause the product to be soggy or deplete more quickly. They also have several drainage holes so the water runs through the dish. I deliberately did not clean one of these out for a week to see how a shower steamer would perform in it. I was concerned that the dyes in the steamers would begin to stain the white shower floor and/or get get gross from sitting there so I thought these dishes would be a good solution. I was correct in that they contained the majority of the product in the dish and there was not a puddle of it sitting on the shower floor. It also allowed the steamer to last longer, given that it was kept in a place that was a bit more dry. And surprisingly, the silicone did a good job of keeping itself clean as I did not clean it out and it shows no residue now that the product is gone. I will say the bottom of the dish is a little slimy however, so these cannot remain completely hands off. I will try a regular bar of soap in case it was because I used a shower steamer for the test. I will update this review if the soap fairs better. Overall, these are cute and help save your product as well as the shower floor!
