Excellent product, excellent price
I purchased 3 different silicone creams/gels following my surgery. This one has proven to be excellent quality and, at less than $10, the least expensive one Iâve tried. It is a clear gel that goes on smoothly and absorbs in less than a minute – you should massage it into the scar for best results. It leaves no residue and is odorless. It is almost entirely silicone with only allantoin (skin protectant) and carbomer (ph balancer) as the last 2 ingredients.

Hello! For background, I deal with an anxiety disorder that can get really bad and leads to me picking at my face nonstop for days. Itâs so bad that Iâll hide at home for a week+ to hide the horrible patches of scabs. Those pimples and wounds leave me with a variation of scars, mostly red/pink surface scars that usually darken.Iâve tried everything in the last 7 years of this issue, everything. With minimal, if any, improvement. I expected the same but was hopeful when I bought it back in July and didnât think I was seeing any noticeable change two months in. But the gel was expensive so I decided to use it up. Thatâs when I got serious about always doing my skincare twice a day, using this alllll over my face each time. By Nov ALLL of my red scars had faded into a hideable pink shade, which was major. Now? My skin tone is incredibly more even colored, and pit scars a little less deep. I didnât believe this would happen even nearly as well. But the gel is a nice consistency, not sticky, and after a few minutes the film feeling goes away completely. And you only need a tiny bit at a time, so it lasts forever. Thrilled.

It works!!
Iâve used this product for a little over a week and itâs really made a difference in my helix piercing. I was developing a small keloid on the back of my ear and so far itâs lessened in size and discoloration. I donât have bad skin and have four other piercing in my ears, didnât have any problems with those.Product is easily applied, no odor and I like that itâs dispensed in small amounts. Moisturizes very well. Iâd purchase again if needed.

Scar from tear below eye is gone
It is a life saver.I had a 1-inch tear right below my eye as I got punched in the eye on the soccer field. I was suggested to go to a clinic to stitch it up as it was an open tear and there was so much blood. However, I didn’t want the switch scar, so my wife was able to seal it with a medical glue in 2 hours.After the scab falls off, I can see a deep line of the tear. In just 1 day of applying the gel, I could see it got filled it significantly. After 3 weeks, the scar is fully even now. However, it is still a dark spot because silicon doesn’t help lighten up the scar. Applying vitamin C serum on it is really helping.Tips: – Make sure the wound is clean using water but do not use hydrogen peroxide because it will damage the skin cells. If you are afraid that the wound might have infection, which definitely will make the scar worse, take antibiotics for 5 days. – Do not touch the scab. Wait for it to fall off before applying the gel 3 times a day. – Once the scar is filled, applying vitamin C serum will help erase the dark spot.I also tried the Mederma for a day, but I didn’t like it much because the gel dried up and didn’t seal the scar long enough to keep it moist. Silicon is a better ingredient to keep the scar moist in my opinion.Strongly recommend it.

Moisturizing and healing
This product seems to be working well on two new scars I have on my face from the same bicycle injury. I am very concerned about the healing process for these scars since they are so visible. One is on the bridge of my nose and the other is on my upper lip. This scar gel has been especially useful on my lip since this scar sheets don’t work well here like they do against a more bony area. A little goes a long way, so the bottle is holding up to daily use. I have been applying sunscreen first (the doctors told me sun protection is key to good scar healing) then applying this gel after the sunscreen absorbs. My scars are still obvious but they are also less red and less raised/puffy, so things are moving in the right direction. No scar treatment is an instant miracle solution, but this gel is an important part of my healing strategy.
