    Buy it, you’ll like it
I have been using tea tree shampoos for many years because of the many benefits. I need it for dandruff prevention, hair growth, and lice repellent.I wash my hair only once a week because I have curly hair and this reduces drying out my hair and frizziness. But this infrequency can contribute to dead skin build-up and scalp fungus that leads to dandruff. This shampoo helps break up the dead skin and kill the fungus that leads to dandruff.Tea tree oil has been shown to increase circulation which helps keep follicles healthy and leads to better hair growth. Which helps keep my hair thick and full.I also need lice prevention due to the occasional incidents that bring these nasty little bugs into my house. The infestations we’ve had after starting to use tea tree shampoos have been significantly lessened in time and severity. And now, why this particular shampoo? The cost, the ingredients, the results. I’ve bought a lot of different kinds of tea tree shampoo through the years. Anything from Paul Mitchell to Trader Joe’s to Burt’s Bees to OGX to Walmart generic brands and more. They are all good in their own ways. But this is one of my favorites.I’m not a fan of sulfates which dry out my hair. I like natural ingredients that still have a good foaming effect. I like moisturizers that soften my hair. I don’t like artificial perfumes that leave an overwhelming scent. And I don’t like to pay an arm and leg for it. Tall order, I know. But I’m happy with this product on all points.Besides the tea tree it has Argan, Jojoba, Lavender, Rosemary oils which are wonderful for my scalp (and smell good too). It has natural surfactants that foam up well. It has keratin which helps strengthen my hair. And panthenol to help moisturize and smooth it.Overall very pleased.

    Very moisturizing
I bought the shampoo for my husband. He has a dry scalp has a nice sense is not perfume. It’s not irritating. He seems to like it. I used it on my hair and it makes it really soft and it’s easy to detangler. I think it’s pretty good product.

Works well, scent is not overpowering like some Tea Tree based products.
I purchased this product to help with scalp health. On and off, my scalp would smell musty or sour even with daily washing. I read that Tea Tree is a great natural anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory. I also have issues with some ingredients in skin and hair care products. I can not use sulfates. This shampoo not only has Tea Tree in it, it’s also sulfate free! I love that it lathers well, smells great and not over powered by the Tea Tree. I used it daily for 2 weeks, then a few times a week after. My scalp smell went away and has stayed away. I didn’t use this for dandruff so I can’t speak to that. If I had one suggestion on this product it would be that it gets a little thick in the bottle over time. At first it comes out nice and smooth but after a couple of weeks, it is harder to squeeze out. I keep the bottle lid closed between uses so it can’t be from drying out. For whatever the reason is, it’s not a deal breaker. The benefits are worth trying this shampoo.

Good shampoo for avoiding sulfate-caused skin irritation/acne
I switched to sulfate shampoos a couple of years ago since I was breaking out around my neck where my long hair rubbed. I tried about 6 different SLS-free shampoo brands over time, and the Maple Holistics brand and one other one, Sweet Baby Shampoo, 8 oz., Sulfate Free, No Parabens, Phthalates, Dyes, Endocrine Disruptors, SLS Free, Natural (Unscented Baby), are my favorites and most effective at keeping away that skin irritation. I don’t have any dandruff, but tea tree is helpful with acne, and I like to use the tea tree version sold by this company when I feel as though my hair is greasy. I typically use the Maple Holistics shampoo every 2 days, but if it’s been 3 days, then I use the tea tree version. If it’s only been 1 day, but my hair is dirty from working outside or a heavy workout, then I use the Shampoo for Dry Hair and Flaking Scalp – 100% Safe for Color Treated Hair – Pure Silk Amino Acids, Lavender & Jojoba Oil – 100% Natural, Treatment for Dry & Damaged Hair – Women, Men & Teens – Gentle, Safe & USA Made by Maple Holistics (8 Oz) so my hair doesn’t dry out. In general, I don’t use conditioner very much because that seems to contribute to the skin irritation I get around my neck, and perpetuates a vicious cycle of washing one’s hair only to grease it up. If I only shampoo my hair every 2-3 days, then my hair doesn’t need conditioner anyway. But I did get the Shampoo and Conditioner Set Winter Blend Shampoo + Natural Conditioner Set with 5 Mint Varieties Gentle Ingredients for Women & Men – Safe for Colored Treated Hair USA Made By Maple Holistics and I use the Conditioner from that set when I need it. Bear in mind it takes a couple months for one’s hair to ‘adjust’ to a sulfate-free shampoo, which I didn’t believe until I made the transition myself. My hair was greasier at first when I transitioned and I had to wash it closer to every day, but now I can go 2 days without shampooing and my hair isn’t greasy at all on day 2. I also use the Argan Oil Shampoo, Sulfate Free, 8 oz. – With Argan, Jojoba, Avocado, Almond, Peach Kernel, Camellia Seed, and Keratin – 100% Safe for Color Treated Hair – For Men, Women, and Teens – All Hair Types – Most Beneficial Haircare Product Available and it works well too. I would also recommend the tea tree formula for the transition period when hair may feel greasier until ‘adjusted’.
