Whitening Toothpaste with Bamboo Charcoal. Loving the charcoal phase we are having currently. I like how it cleans & tastes in the products. This toothpaste also whitens. This toothpaste is also fluoride free (which doesn’t state this on the listing anywhere) This is a positive for some, a negative for others. It just depends what you are looking for. I typically want fluoride, so we disappointed it didn’t have it. I would not make it my primary toothpaste just for that reason as well as it is a bit on the more expensive end. It has a nice clean, minty flavor.

Okay, but overpriced and too many ingredients
I try to use toothpaste that has fewer ingredients and no fluoride. You really have to look through this listing to find out that the product is fluoride free. In one of the pictures it says, “wholesome eliminate the hazards of fluoride.” I’m not sure why they don’t make this more clear. It doesn’t appear on the ingredients list on the toothpaste box. This is good. Unfortunately, it has too many other ingredients for my liking. Things that I’d rather not ingest, like sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium saccharin. I shouldn’t have assumed that because the listing says that this product contains bamboo charcoal and is natural, that it would then have a smaller and cleaner ingredient list. That mistake is on me.As far as the tooth whitening properties are concerned, I haven’t used it long enough to know how well it works for this purpose. The toothpaste has a very mild taste. Nothing too sweet or harsh. This is something that I appreciate. If the whitening properties do indeed work, I might consider using it intermittently. Very intermittently. But frankly, I took a shot with this toothpaste because I was able to get it free through the Amazon Vine program. I wouldn’t have purchased it at the $29.99 three pack price. Ten dollars per 3.5 ounce tube is more than I want to spend on toothpaste. Even if the ingredients list were more to my liking.

I’ve heard of this type of whitening toothpaste but I’ve also seen a lot of articles that say bamboo charcoal is bad for your teeth so I’m not sure I can recommend it in good faith

Attractive but Needs More Transparency
This set of three toothpaste tubes is nicely packaged and features ageratum for antibacterial properties and hydroxyapatite. However, ingredient details are missing from the Amazon page, and calcium carbonate, claimed to be avoided, is listed as the second ingredient. Spelling errors on the packaging raise some quality concerns. Better transparency and refined packaging could make this a standout product.

Impressed, worth a try
I’ve just started using this toothpaste (my first with any charcoal) and am sure to follow instructions, leaving it is the mouth for 3 minutes. Run through he 2-minute cycle on my toothbrush then continue for another minute. The flavor and consistency is very pleasant and acceptable to me and I felt afterwards like my teeth were exceptionally clean, smooth and brighter – my whole mouth felt fresher. Eager to see if continued daily use will indeed whiten them but I am hopeful. I do drink tea daily, but use a special anti-wrinkle straw (ordered from Amazon) which also keeps fluids well back in the mouth and away from the teeth to help with that too so we’ll see. I’ll try to report back if I see noticeable results of success in whitening and again I am hopeful, like we all are! I’ll be disciplined to make the effort for sure. As to cost, you often get what you paid for and I’m willing to try.Update: Been using this for nearly 3 weeks and I am very critical and do sincerely believe my teeth are brighter. Now my husband has “dental appliances” made up of acrylic resin and of course it seems that natural teeth just can’t compete with the whiteness in manufactured “dental appliances”/purchased teeth. But I am encouraged that this toothpaste is keeping up with any daily staining from drinking tea so again very pleased with the product and my teeth look great but I never have had problem discoloration they’ve been pretty normal. I am certain to use it for three minutes: I let my electric run through its 4 cycles for 2 minutes, then let it start again and go 2 more, easy/peasy. The taste is pleasant, consistency as expected, and amount of product in the tube normal I think. I’ve read others describe the tubes as tiny and THEY ARE NOT, evidently these persons have never used a specialty toothpaste because the size of this is very normal. Granted some of the older brands come in larger “family-size-type” tubes but I had been using a toothpaste for sensitive teeth and this is the same size. And having said that, I have had no discomfort using this bamboo/charcoal after discontinuing the sensitive brand, so am still VERY PLEASED.2nd update: Had a night out with photo taken and was amazed at how bright my teeth looked. At home in normal light it is hard to tell a difference, but seeing this photo certainly validates this toothpaste because they honestly look whiter than my husband’s and they are implants where he could choose the whiteness. My teeth are natural and have served me well and this toothpaste seems to be bringing out there best. This photo was in a romantic restaurant with subdued lighting and they still look fabulous!
