Brushes really well, decent ingredients, but leaves a bad Crest-like aftertaste for me
Ingredients: Sorbitol, Calcium Carbonate, Aqua, Hydrated Silica, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Peg-8, Glycerin, Aroma, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Menthol, Sodium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Chondrus Crispus, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate Trisodium Phospahate, Sodium Saccharin, Charcoal Powder, Hydroxyapatite, Pogostemon Cablin Leaf/Stem Extract, Sodium PhosphateIt’s an interesting set of ingredients, for sure. One thing to state up front is that whitening is done either abrasively or chemically. Since there’s no peroxides in this, the only whitening incumbent in these is what you can find in most any other toothpaste. Calcium carbonate, hydrated silica, and hydroxyapatite are the abrasives in this; the latter is in a lot of other toothpastes. Sodium lauryl sulfate is a common frothing agent (also found quite often in soaps), and while this is the first toothpaste I’ve seen sodium lauroyl sarcosinate in, it’s another frothing agent. Chondrus crispus is an algae that offers thickening, along with cellulose gum and xanthan gum. Pogostemon cablin is also known as patchouli, which is kinda mint-y, kinda wood-y.As for the subjectives, it’s not a black toothpaste, more like a stone grey. Flavor wise, it’s a mild mint; not Altoid strong, but it is there, as is the subtlety of the patchouli. You’ll notice it as “mint with a little something else.” It did leave my mouth feeling pretty clean, but unfortunately, it does leave that kinda gross taste in my mouth that Crest toothpaste does. It’s hard to explain, but it does. All in all, it does do the job of a toothpaste very well, and it does feel very, very premium. The packaging is great, and the tubes are fairly thick. The question at the end of the day is whether $10 a tube is worth it to you. I’ll probably end up giving these to someone else, just because I can’t stand the Crest-like aftertaste, but I know someone who brushes with Crest, so they should enjoy it just fine.

The cool smell is very comfortable
After using this toothpaste for a while, my first feeling is that it is very comfortable to use, has a refreshing taste, and can indeed remove plaque and other stains on teeth. Although I haven’t seen my teeth become whiter, I believe it can make them whiter. I have fallen in love with this toothpaste. It is worth recommending.

Toothpaste
I have been using this toothpaste for like a week now and I absolutely love it. So I use this at nights and it has no after taste. It cleans really well and a little goes a long way. The toothpaste is easy to dispense and the ingredients are really good. This product is so good my teeth feel super clean even after waking up!

Decent taste, more abrasive than “normal” toothpaste
This toothpaste is a light grey color, likely from the charcoal additive. The taste is a pleasant mint, not too strong. I believe the whitening is done as a combination of the charcoal and other abrasives in this toothpaste. I noticed that it felt more abrasive than the pastes I normally use, and I plan to mix this in with my standard one rather than use it exclusively. This review was for “R&O Ageratum Whitening Toothpaste with Bamboo Charcoal, 3.53 oz – Great for Teeth Whitening, Reduces Plaque, Removes Stubborn Stains, Promotes Oral Health, Long – Lasting Fresh Breath (3)”

Excellent for whitening and promoting oral health!
A powerful toothpaste that whitens teeth and removes stains while keeping your breath fresh. The bamboo charcoal is a nice touch for natural cleaning.

does help
This is a decent charcol toothpaste.Much gentler that others I have tried but still a bit gritty which takes some getting used to.Does have a rather refreshing mint flavor with this one.Not overpowering or like a burning mint so that is nice.Seems to work well over time. The more it is used the better the results are with this one.
