I wasn’t sure about this mud body wash because I couldn’t wrap my head around the concept–I’ve used mud masks, but how do you wash with it?? Well, this product answered those questions because I love how this makes my skin feel! It provides some nice exfoliation and makes my skin feel soft and smooth. Those little bumps caused by ingrown hairs? Gone! The smell is a little weird; It’s not quite a mud scent, but thankfully, the result is worth it, and I use a scented lotion to get rid of any residual scent. This is worth a try!

I like the feel of the body wash and the mud and so does my partner. We both aren’t fond of the smell though. There’s just so many smells to this that it’s.. odd. Sometimes it smells fruity, other times like medicine. Still other times like mud, then we go back to smelling weird smells. We’re okay with “weird” smells, as we are used to things like tea tree body wash and the like; this is something very different – it’s like there’s too many smells. We’re not fond of smelling like this montage of smells all day, so we have to wash with soap or another body wash AFTER using this.As for cleansing our skin and exfoliating, it does do that well. My partner has noticed less breakouts since using this. So, it works on that front. Smells are subjective, and this is expensive for the array of smells. So I’d give it 3.5 stars from my family.

Odd smell but leaves skin soft and smooth.
Normally I am not one for mud masks and the like because I feel they are too drying, but this Relief Mud Scrub Daily Body Wash by Brmud is purportedly good for dry skin so I decided to try it.It shows up fully shrink wrapped which I appreciate. I have used it twice now and find it to be very moisturizing and refreshing. The wash dispenses looking like thick, molten bronze, but the color dissipates as soon as it meets water. It foams fairly well, not great but sufficiently. The granular nature likely interferes with the foaming action somewhat, even though the exfoliating is gentle because the particles are very small. There is no added fragrance in this wash, but it definitely has a scent. I know the scent is coming from various ingredients in it, but I cannot account for my opinion that it smells like a chlorine swimming pool sitting by the ocean. It’s almost medicinal smelling and although I can’t say that I love it, I certainly don’t mind it one bit.After using this wash I feel very clean and refreshed and surprisingly not dried out at all. The added bonus is that when I went to apply my after shower moisturizer my skin felt much smoother then it normally does, which seemed to help my moisturizer to glide over the skin for easier distribution.I like this body wash a lot. I also like that the formulation is clean, there are no parabens, PEGs, silicones, sulfates, or any other of the myriad of chemicals normally found in cheap body washes that are potentially harmful to humans and/or the environment.Currently this relief mud body wash is selling for $37 for a 16.9 oz bottle. That’s not cheap, but this is not your everyday drugstore quality body wash, so I’m fine with the price.Highly recommendedMade in Korea

Smell takes some getting used to

First off, the color of this gel isn’t very pretty…kind of a light brownish color that is definitely not attractive. It lathers up like any scrub and rinses off well. You can feel the tiny scrubbing bubbles which are much nicer than those coarse drugstore scrubs. The fragrance is a myriad of strange smells but I pick up mostly citrus and eucalyptus. My skin does feel soft and supple after using so don’t let the smell put you off. This is a nice big bottle so I’m looking forward to seeing if my dry skin improves with regular use of this product. Expensive but a quality scrub.

gentle exfoliator that smells amazing and feels good
I’m impressed with this body wash.It is important to mention that even though it is a mud scrub, it does not smell like mud at all. It smells like eucalyptus, reminiscent of a spa.The bottle you get is large at 16.9 ounces, but it still sits comfortably in the corner of my shower.The wash/scrub comes out of the pump easily, and has a creamy texture with tiny, soft exfoliating beads. This did not irritate even the most sensitive skin on my arms–in fact, it felt soothing to my itchy skin, providing gentle exfoliation without feeling like I was scratching my skin off. The next morning, my skin was still soft and not at all dry or tight (which can happen with some exfoliants). This has earned a permanent space in my shower.

This is ok. Not something I would use every shower because it does dry me out a little bit but I love how well it exfoliates. It smells nice too.
