The peppermint is not overpowering, although the taste of clove does seem to be minimal. Pulling with this was not bad at all, and it doesn’t appear to leave a film or any type of residue on your teeth when you’re done. I have just started taking it today, so I cannot speak on the ability of it to whiten your teeth just yet. I’ll use it for another week or two and see if there’s a change in the color of my teeth.I use an app called Yuka to tell me If there are harmful ingredients in things that I’m using. Yuka marked this product as Excellent. With only 4-5 ingredients in it, this mouthwash is one that I would consider safer than something like Listerine or Act.Overall I am happy with this for the first use of many, and I would happily use it again.

Super quick delivery! Ordered on Wednesday and had in my hands on Friday. Plant Therapy never ceases to amaze me with their shipping. It is like they have little elves waiting to fill and run over to my house. (That idea was suggested first by my aunt who also loves PT and is always surprised at how fast the shipping is). Love my sticker and adding to my collection!About the oil.. Upon opening, this surpassed my expectation with scent to start with. It was a great combination of clove and peppermint but I can’t figure out which is more prominent but love the scent. Immediately I grabbed a spoon a poured my first try. I have used my own concoction of just clove and fco in the past and clearly I should leave the mixing to professionals because this is smooth. The feeling is very soothing on my gums and I did not experience that sharp clove tinge. The directions state to swish for 2-5 minutes and up to over 20 minutes for maximum benefits. After 15 minutes, I spit out and before able to brush my teeth, I can tell my breath smells minty fresh. After I brushed my teeth I know I saw that sparkle, like ya see in a commercial, wink at me. After brushing my teeth, my mouth feels clean and my teeth are so smooth. Can’t really comment on whitening obviously as I just started using this today, but if I can see winking and sparkling in the mirror and can smell freshness, I trust they are clean which is what makes me happy!I ordered the 8oz bottle since it was new and not sure if I would love it but I will be purchasing again in a larger bottle for sure because yeah, I love it. The organic ingredients are just another tip of the hat to how great this oil is and the feeling of using it.

I have had my teeth professionally whitened several years back and have continuously used other products to whiten my teeth but I will only purchase this from now on! I wish I wouldâve taken before and after pictures because I noticed a pretty big difference after just one use!!!

I think it works
I wanted an oil for oil pulling instead of just getting a random jar of coconut oil at a health food store. Which I think works also. But plant therapy puts out a lot of nice products and I thought I would try their oil pulling product. It leaves my mouth feeling somewhat fresh and as far as the oil pulling part goes, I think it works fine. No giant noticeable differences in gum health that are visual anyways. for oil pulling, I would recommend using as directed. This isn’t a mouthwash where you put it in your mouth for two seconds and spit it back out. Usually people gag the first couple of times using something like this. But remember it’s coconut and you probably won’t gag as much.

Iâm not sure if the benefits of this are worth the feeling of it. It felt like I was swishing a spicy oil. The clove gave it a spicy feel while the consistency reminded me of cooking oil.
