Each is distinct. Leather is good to mix.
I wanted to experiment with these woodier man-cave-y smells, but wasn’t sure which one I’d like the most. This variety pack makes for a good sampler. Just for clarification, I use a mist diffuser in a 1-bed apartment living room, and these scents work great in this space. The leather doesn’t have much of a flavor per-se, but is surprisingly accurate. I like to mix leather with any of the other oils to give them a little more presence, which especially helps with Cedar due to it being a bit harder to notice. That being said, be careful with the sweet tobacco, I didn’t think it was possible to overdo a diffused essential oil, but it definitely is with the sweet tobacco. It smells good, it’s just overbearingly sweet. Mixing just a few drops of it with the leather had me cracking open some windows. These oils do great to make my apartment smell less like an apartment. Would recommend.

Very pleased with these scents!! I’m a difficult one to please with essential oils, as many smell like bug spray to me but these all smell fantastic! Highly recommend.

Overall great with some weaknesses
First, Sweet Tobacco is just lovely. Easily the standout of the set.Leather smells… not for me. Cedar is rather less good than I hoped but seems solid. Leather is the only one I never see myself using.Rest are nice. Bay Rum in particular. Teakwood smells rather nautical.Do note that these oils require more than some other brands.If I were to buy again, I’d probably just buy Sweet Tobacco and Bay Rum – and a lot of it.But that’s me. I already had had Sandalwood, for example, and if I didn’t, then this would be a better value.But always nice to have a good variety. Just too bad about Leather.If Leather is replaced by the company, I suggest Vetiver. It would fit in nicely with this set, and one can’t go wrong with it.
