Beautiful, soft & elegant!
This is a lovely oil. I wasnât sure what to expect with pistachio & personally find some of the scents with this nutty-sweet profile jarring, but this is beautiful & well executed being blended well and soft. It makes a perfect base layer if you are in to mixing fragrance to make it personal. This brand is impressing me so much & I am in love with the quality, extra touches (velvet drawstring bag and free extra sample!). I highly recommend this company and scent. I am anxious to try another fragrance in this oil line to see how they compare. It is a great value for the money, projects softly and is long lasting. It isnât like a pudding pistachio but rather the slight floral scent of a flowering pistachio tree. Gorgeous! Would mix well with almond, vanilla, or cashmere type scents. Thank you Maison Orient & Amazon! xo

Single-Note Pistachio with Lasting Power
This is a lovely pistachio scent, without a lot of other notes complicating the vibe. The glass vial is NOT a spray vial. You remove the lid, and inside there’s a wand that comes out that you dab on your wrists. The sillage is great: really lasts on my skin. I’m not getting a lot of “throw” with it, so consider it a skin scent. (Meaning, you probably won’t get a lot of people commenting on your perfume.)The bottle itself is pretty but generic looking. The only label is from a small label printer; just a little paper that reads, “Pistachio.”If you’re looking for an inexpensive single-note pistachio, and if the “bottle look” isn’t a major factor in your fragrances, this could be a good choice for you. I also think it would blend well with other, simple gourmand scents, like vanilla, marshmallow, almond, and cotton candy.

Smells so artificial
To me, this is such a strongly artificial scent. I really did not like it at all. It’s just strong and fake smelling. However I showed it to someone else as I was getting ready to toss it out and they said they loved it so I gave it to them to keep. So I guess it’s subjective, so I won’t dock too many stars for it. For me, it wasn’t it and was a disappointment. But maybe you’ll like it. Sorry I couldn’t be more of a help here. I would overall recommend against it but if you’re not picky about artificial smells maybe you’ll like it.

Smells amazinggg!
I’m a big fan perfumes and have a very large collection of oil perfumes from the Middle East and current Arabian perfumes as well. I was excited to try this “Pistachio” scent by Maison d’Orient. It has notes of sandalwood, vanilla, and almond and reminds me a lot of another Arabian perfume called Khamra, except this one is wayyy less Christmas candleish 🙂 It is definitely a gourmand scent, can’t say it smells like pistachios but if you like sweet/spicy vanilla type scents, you will like this.It went on pretty strong and a few hours later, I still get whiffs every time I use my hands (I applied it on my wrist). I usually use these perfume oils as deodorant and this one will be easy to apply because it has a glass applicator attached to the lid.I also really liked the two mini sample vials they included! I was wanting to try musk tahara and pink musk and this gave me an opportunity to try before I buy (they were both really good btw). Highly recommend!!

Lovely pistachio fragrance!
This perfume is lovely, especially considering it’s affordable price. I regularly purchase altars from Sultan Pasha as well as enjoy nice fragrances from a variety of houses. While it is evident this isn’t a super high-end, complex fragrance, it is still very enjoyable. It has a strong pistachio right out of the gate, then releases a bold sandalwood note. I feel like I can smell saffron, but it’s not listed as a note. I also get a luscious, creamy vanilla in the dry down. This bottle came with two mini perfume samples to try out other offerings by the brand, but I won’t be reviewing those as they aren’t the main attraction here. The perfume is long-lasting as well, though it becomes more of a skin scent after a couple of hours. Five stars! I am rather impressed.

Fragrant lovely perfume oil.
Cute bottle, very fragrant, and a little goes a long way. My only issue is that it is quite difficult to get the dropper put without spilling any. Otherwise I am pleasantly surprised. The scent is really familiar, I wish I could place it, but I find it to be a nice middle between cologne and perfume. Did not irritate my skin at all.

Beautiful ð
It is no exaggeration for me to say that everything that came from this package was gorgeous on top of beautiful⦠the perfume I ordered is amazing, and one of the two samples, I smelled, then immediately gave to my daughter without even trying it, because itâs meant to be her signature scent. The other sample is thick with resins, and it melted into the skin a little tacky, but only for a minuteâ¦. Then as my skin warmed it, it changed and, well, it did what good perfumes do, it melted into a wholly personal scent. I love it.

Gourmand? Not what I expected
I ordered the Maison d’Orient Pistachio Perfume Oil based on the description: “This fragrance opens with a luscious blend of pistachio, almond, and coconut, creating a gourmand experience. Vanilla and tonka bean add warmth and sweetness, while sandalwoodâs soft woody tones provide a refined balance.” I thought based on that you’d get a nutty gourmand sweet scent. Nope. It’s heavy on–I’m assuming the sandalwood–very musky. It is concentrated and long-lasting if you light an Arabian-style scent. So checking what an Arabian Tola Bottle means, it’s 12ml and that’s what you get. If the company is looking to present an elegant appearance, lose the ugly printed white tag. It comes with two sample vials of the company’s musk products and a black velvet gift bag.
