What is the difference between a mineral sunscreen and chemical sunscreen?
Mineral sunscreen creates a barrier that deflects UV rays from the skin’s surface and stops them from penetrating. Standard, non-mineral sunscreens penetrate into the skin and absorb the sun’s rays, where they are converted into heat & then released.
What is squalane and what benefits does it add to sunscreen?
Squalene is a skin-moisturizing superhero all babies are born with, but it depletes over time. Our stable version, renewable, sugarcane-derived squalane, helps sunscreen glide on, adding weightless moisture to help bring natural balance to the skin.
Does the zinc sunscreen leave a white cast on skin and is this because it sits on TOP of skin to reflect harmful rays?
While our formula is designed to not leave a white cast on any skin color, all mineral sunscreens are unable to be completely clear as the zinc oxide sits on TOP of skin to reflect the rays. So depending on skin tone, it may appear slightly different
Can you use mineral sunscreen on a baby?
Because of their vulnerable skin, pediatricians recommend babies be kept out of the sun as much as possible for the first 6 months. After that, they can start wearing sunscreen for extra protection. Our formula is supremely gentle and non-irritating.
How best to use sunscreen?
Apply generously from head to tiny toes fifteen minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours and use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Limit sun exposure especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

I absolutely love this brand. Almost everything in their line is a favorite. This sunscreen is my #1 mom holy grail of skincare for my kids. Easy to rub in, actually protects their skin, doesnât stink, has clean ingredients, and doesnât irritate them. What more could you want???

Always looking for â cleanâ alternatives. Really happy with this sub block. Didnât leave an awfully white layer. Slightly but nothing compared to most other zinc sunscreens. I will be purchasing again. I like the easy spray on feature. It does get caked up so just be sure to wipe it out after use.

Love the ingredients but does not rub in well
Love the ingredients of this brand! The only issue I have is this spray comes out thick and does not rub in well leaving a chalky white coating on the skin. The regular squeeze sunscreen does not do this.

Contains ingredients of moderate risk
It is difficult to find out about all the ingredients in these unreturnable liquid products until you actually get the product. I use the Yuka app which evaluates the ingredients in many products. This is a problem that Amazon can alleviate if it would just show the barcode of the product that is used by the Yuka app to identify the problem. Because of this, I will not be ordering any liquid items anymore from Amazon that I cannot return, even if they are not opened.Yuka says that this product has two ingredients that are of moderate risk: zinc oxide 2 and butyloctyl salicylate. If inhaled, they say that it could cause respitory inflammation, for one thing. The butyloctyl salicylate is suspected of disrupting the endocrine system as it can interact with female hormone receptros. It also is reported to affect fetal weight gain.

Do not use if ur black and dark skin
Baby when I tell u I took and a shower did my skinny routine and thought I was saving the best foe last . I spray on my fast and my entire face turned white ð¤£ð¤£ð¤£ð¤£ð¤£ð¤£ I thought it was gonna be clear ð . I had to hurry up and scrub off my face I had to go to work in 15 mins!! Yes I was late. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We love Pipette brand. Itâs not too difficult to blend in but most importantly my toddler never gets burned when we use it. We only do mineral based sunscreen and I love that this one is a spray bottle.
