Works like I hoped it would!
I have been living with well water for years. I never once thought I needed to wash the minerals out of my hair from hard water. Our water is not too hard but, after seeing the buildup of minerals around my sink drains, water stains from hard water, and having to rinse out faucet aerators to remove buildup, I realized all that gunk must be in my hair, as well! After losing most of my hair from an illness, it grew back curly, so with all the hair products, along with hard water, I decided to get a detox shampoo. I purchased this shampoo, and I’m not disappointed! It lathers very nicely! It does leave my hair squeaky clean, so I always use a heavier conditioner after washing and leave it in for a few minutes before I rinse it out. It really helps my curls pop back! This is not a cheap shampoo, but it was definitely money well spent! I love the golden color and the smell is nice. It doesn’t clash with or overpower the scent of my hair products.

Best Detox Shampoo
I have very fine curly hair & these detox shampoo is all I use. I wash my hair twice a week with it followed up by Ouai’s leave in conditioner. It cleans my hair so good. After washing my hair it feels dryish/stiff in the shower but once my hair air dries it’s so soft. It really cleanses everything out of your hair. Nice scent too.

OUAI detox shampoo on my 2C/2B curly hair
I have only used it once and can already feel the difference. I have curly hair and use a lot of products to get my curls perfected and this product washes all the built-up products on my hair and scalp off. The smell is also good, and my hair does not get oily very quick anymore. Did not give it 5 stars yet because I have only used it once.

Great for hard water well systems
I am on well water with a filtration system but it is still hard water. I was using a detox spray but never felt it provided the right coverage. This detox shampoo is amazing. I have colored hair and it seems fine with a once a week detox shampoo. No issues. My color stays bright and not brassy. I highly recommend.

This is definitely a clarifying shampoo! You feel an immediate difference when you rinse. It does strip build up and does it very well. I would personally follow it with a moisturizing shampoo (i love OGX), and a moisturizing conditioner. I wasnt impressed with the Quai conditioner, i dont feel like its made for my type of hair. Olaplex or OGX is better.

Have been struggling with my scalp and hair for the longest time. While pricey, it is worth it and works wonders. Scalp feels so clean (originally had lots of buildup and scalp felt itchy and uncomfortable). Hair is soft. Smells great (my son keeps touching and smelling my hair). Scent is like a light perfume – not strong, just right. 10/10

Skulle vara julklapp men självklart något fel med leveransen. Man kommer inte fram till någon support och jag vill ha pengarna tillbaka. Blivit av med över 500kr! Skamligt! Jag hinner inte köpa andra julklappar nu och har inte råd heller. Har varit tveksam till Amazon innan men dottern önskade sig härifrån, nu vågar jag aldrig lita på Amazon igen.

It’s nothing special, if you have a very very sensitive scalp that you should avoid sulfates at all costs and also want a clean scalp maybe this is for you otherwise it did not help me achieve a cleaner scalp compared to a good drugstore shampoo.

Looking at the reviews before purchasing I had higher expectations especially with the price point too.Itâs not a bad shampoo but itâs just a shampoo. My hair wasnât any cleaner then normal and when I scratch my head there is still buildup underneath my nails.However on the plus side it does lather well and is pretty.Overall though definitely not worth it.
