Delicious honey pear tea
I was looking for Japanese green tea and came across the ad for this. Iâm always skeptical of so-called flavored teas because they usually donât taste like much. Iâm actually delighted with this Japanese tea. It truly has a nice taste of pear and honey. Iâll definitely be buying it again.

But…the smell is Funky
Let me first say I’m Filipina and can overcome a lot of smells, tastes, odors and textures when it comes to food. I was hooked on eating fish eyes when I was a toddler for Pete’s sake. My mom would have to buy fresh fish heads at the fishing docks and just a small insight to my food culture and upbringing. But the smell of THIS tea is SO awful, it took me over an hour to work up the nerve to take a sip and still that was hard to do. It is like trying to build up the will to drink a bottle of perfume. I could only handle a few sips more before I removed it from my vicinity so it wouldn’t fill my bedroom with it’s aroma.I can only say the taste is definitely not as unpleasant as it smells -slightly earthy. Pear notes? Sure, I guess. I can’t offer much else. The rest is going in the trash. I hate wasting anything, but I can’t stomach this. I also hate being negative, but I have to be honest and prepare you… It’s funky. That’s also coming from someone who adds cayenne, Golden milk blend (turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, ginger) and moringa powder to her herbal mushroom tea every day. I can handle *the funk.*

Why aren’t there 10 stars here! This tea is really, really luscious. The box arrived damaged – there were a few tea bags that were salvageable, so I had a cup from one of those. I’m here on the site to re-order and to write this review out. If you are looking for a tea that is not too sweet and can be enjoyed as is without sugar.. congrats to finding your new tea.This brand has me wanting to try the others. You’ll want to hurry and get a box of this one before I buy them all..

Having grown up with the roasted chestnuts during winter time, this Marron Glace flavor hits home reminding me of familiar flavors. Without any addition of sugar or honey, this tea is sweet, nutty, and earthy. You can make a delish milk tea by adding some milk, cream, or condensed milk.It pairs well with dessert dishes but it can be enjoyed on its own.

wow! just opening the sleeve of the tea bag filled my little kitchen with sweet asian pear fragrance. I love asian pears when they are in season and this delightful tea will fill in during the long months when i’m unable to get fresh pears. I’m looking forward to trying their Jeju tangerine tea soon

I highly recommend this tea. My husband and I had this tea many years ago at a Korean restaurant (in Vancouver) and I spent years trying to find it. A few years ago I finally found it on eBay. Unfortunately they didnât sell it in bulk so I had to save it for special occasions. I am very happy itâs now available on Amazon. I order by monthly subscription and drink a cup a day now. If you like green tea with a floral aroma, this is the tea for you.

The aroma of this tea is reminiscent of desserts and bubble tea shops. I’ve had a cup brewing and all who walked past have asked what smells so wonderful! The flavour is rich and soothing- it feels like a warm hug. The value is great, the packaging is lovely and the brand itself is delightful! I highly recommend and will be buying more and surely gifting some to other tea lovers.
