Not bad but expensive….
Ten bucks for dental floss seems a bit egregious but not buying plastic will usually always be more expensive until folks stop consuming products with plastic all together.Floss is a bit thicker than others I’ve used and the spool could be bigger.Overall good ð but a bit pricey.

Very nice floss
Nice floss…the right thickness for me, and more natural material.I would rate it 5-star except for the container, which I think should be designed differently.Aside from the glass, which might break (as a reviewer noted), the thread is difficult to get back into the small hole if it slips out (which it did for me).In the meantime, problem solved: I put it into my old dental floss containers and it works great :>)

Why isn’t everyone using this?
I don’t usually write a lot of reviews but I’m so excited about this floss I had to take the time. Who gets excited about dental floss?! I know. Crazy. After reading about the scary chemicals that are in most brands of floss out there I’ve been hunting around for a replacement. Tried Tom’s but it’s so thick it’s almost unusable (and the plastic – yuck). I bought a container of both this and the Wowe silk floss. Both are pleasant and easy to use. Even easier than the floss my dentist sends me home with that has all the chemicals in it. It doesn’t break between my teeth, even the teeth that are kind of tight together. The reason I’m going to be sticking with the TreeBird is that black colored floss makes it so easy to see all that ick that’s on your teeth. Why someone hasn’t thought of this before, I’m not sure. It’s definitely motivating me to floss more. The only down side of this floss is that I’m a bit clumsy so I’m a little worried about breaking the glass bottle (the Wowe comes in metal), but I love this floss so much I’m going to keep buying it.Even if I wasn’t worried about floss that’s biodegradable, I’d still think that this is my favorite dental floss.

Much stronger than regular floss
I originally purchased this to get away from plastics entering my bloodstream, but the quality of this really impressed me. It doesnât break as easily as other flosses. I will continue to buy this brand

Donât do it.
The floss is so thick itâs painful to use. The floss falls back into the tube and sometimes you canât find the end to rethread the floss back into the lid hole. Donât bother cutting a new piece of of floss after that because it will never unravel the same. This floss is too expensive to be such a faulty product. Do no be bamboozled by the packaging. It is not worth the value of your currency.

Ok, but not great– switching to Dr. Tung’s
So, I tried this after my new dentist told me that my old floss & many other mainstream brands use PFAS chemicals; she actually recommended Dr. Tung’s to begin with, but when I googled “dental floss PFAS” so I’d have something tangible to share with friends, I found a list from consumer reports with their top 17 choices, sorted into “best,” “poses some risks,” and “poses more risks.” Dr. Tung’s was in the 2nd category– bc the base material for the floss is polyester– and it states “known risk to human or environmental health.” I was kind of annoyed that they didn’t distinguish btw whether it’s bad for MY health or the environment– bc, let’s be real, none of us have a carbon footprint of zero. Basically everything that CAN be re-usable in my house, is; but we still live on the grid, we’re not going to be totally pure in the sense of zero impact. But, ok, I wanted to try the BEST POSSIBLE option first. And, since so many ppl wrote that the silk floss broke easily, I chose the vegan charcoal option. After using the whole pkg, here’s my experience:It was meh. Not terrible, but I wouldn’t want to keep using it. First, the container is poorly designed, which seems to be the same across all brands of this style of 100% natural floss– it’s this vertical tube thing, where the floss comes out the top, and it only feeds out, like, ONE centimeter of floss from the spot where it pops out of the container to the spot where it’s caught & cut by the little metal tab; AND, since the weight of the whole ball of floss is hanging down from that point where it’s dangling from inside the tube, it’s VERY EASY to grab it but then lose it & have it fall back inside! It’s easy enough to un-screw the top & re-thread it, but it happens kind of a lot. It’s a TERRIBLE DESIGN! I don’t want to keep dealing with this several times a week forever. As for the floss itself…it didn’t break, but it still wasn’t great to use. It was somewhat difficult to get btw my teeth; I had to work it up & down repeatedly just to get it to go thru the space. But, it wasn’t terrible. Like I said, it didn’t break. It was ok.But, as soon as it ran out, I switched to Dr. Tung’s, as my dentist recommended– they are also pfas free! I don’t think the fact that the floss is made from polyester can be bad for *human* health, since their whole brand is built around being a natural & healthy alternative & they’re labeled pfas-free. Their container is a normal/traditional shape, just made of cardboard; so you can recycle it! And the floss itself is AWESOME. Super easy to use & has a fresh flavor. I recommend that!

Good floss
This was the first biodegradable floss I’ve tried and I am a big fan. I love the little glass jar it comes in thats easy to use. I noticed this floss is a little thicker than your usual so it took a little more work to get it between some of my teeth, but it was never really an issue. Its black so you can really see all the stuff you’re pulling off your teeth. After I finished my first roll i couldn’t find any refills though, so I ended up just getting this brands normal biodegradable floss and I actually prefer that one, as it’s a little easier to get in between my teeth and i feel like it does a better job of cleaning my teeth off.
