It doesnât taste horrid, but there is definitely a taste. I sorta reminds me of powdered creamer. I just use warm water to dissolve it since it doesnât dissolve in cold water. Try it in broth
I originally bought this to help with my thinning hair. Like so many other reviewers here, this stuff works great and only after a couple of weeks. I had a hard time drinking it in my coffee and tea. Iâm very particular about the taste and texture of my morning beverage and felt this made them thicker. Yuck! However, I thought since it was animal based, why not try it in broth? Brilliant! Every day now I have a nice warm broth with two scoops of this. Very tasty and somewhat filling. As Iâm watching my weight I will sometimes substitute this for lunch, but thatâs just me.

Mild taste not a deal breaker
Although it states it is unflavored I find it does have a mild taste. I use this is my coffee and tea. It dissolves best in hot or warm liquids. If used in cold liquids I have to use a brother or blender because it clumps up. I have used it for theee weeks. With this harsh winter weather my skin, hair and nails have been brittle and dry but not as severe as past seasons since using the collagen. I will continue to use it daily and update with results. If it was truly unflavored and dissolved easily in cold liquids I would give it 5 stars.

Not great but not terrible
This product mixes well in hot drinks. I add it to my morning coffee. However, it does alter my coffee flavor. Itâs not great but not terrible. I need to add more flavored creamer to help cover the taste. Sometimes I donât add it in my coffee because I canât finish it with the collagen aftertaste. If you add it to your frozen protein shakes, it might help make it easier to take.

I saw some of the reviews that say it tastes funny, like a cow! This is my third tub of Orgain collagen, peptides the same brand, mine is unflavored, and it doesnât taste like anything. And there is no smell or aftertaste either I do put it in my coffee every morning one heaping scoop. I also mix in cacao powder, which is really good for you and if there was a taste, you wouldnât taste it with the cacao powder in it so if you donât like the taste try Navitas organic cacao powder. It can be purchased at Whole Foods or Amazon.
