Soft and Quiet
Super good. 3 power levels, soft and quiet. I purchased AquaSonic which is terribly harsh, felt it could break my teeth some day.

Great brush!
First time using an electric tooth brush. Definitely feels cleaner than a normal toothbrush. Pressure sensitivity light doesn’t really make sense because you can’t see the light while brushing but it is what it is.

Not as powerful as high end models
I replaced my Oral B IO 8 (or 9) that I had for just over 2 years before the battery failed. I figured I’d buy a less expensive model since I never really used any of the bluetooth features or other brushing modes. What I didn’t realize is that the IO 2 is less powerful, even at level 3 so it’s a noticeable difference in mouth feel. I’ll probably keep it regardless as a travel toothbrush but if you want the best performance (regardless of features) it appears the motor in the higher end model is better.

Has attributes of the best reviewed toothbrushes, well made and comfortable
There are many articles comparing electronic toothbrushes. I noticed that a 2024 study by The New York Times identified two top choices, one of which is an oscillating and one a sonic. However, the type is not a factor in their decision. The reasons for picking these can be used as a basis to compare with the oral-B.What they identified as important were 1) a powerful enough motor, 2) an automated two-minute timer that buzzes every 30 seconds, 3) an audible pressure sensor, and 4) inexpensive brush replacements.1) MotorI have no way of measuring the power of the oral-B. However, I can say from experience that it feels powerful enough in that it never hesitated when applying various pressure. It has three speeds. The first is somewhat slow and the third somewhat fast. Thus, the power can be controlled to a level that is comfortable for you. In my opinion, this toothbrush meets the criterion of having a powerful enough motor.2) TimerThe oral-B also includes an automated two-minute timer. It pulses every 30 seconds to help you pace the cleaning. After the two minutes it pulses four times. It does not automatically shut off after the two minutes are up.3) Pressure SensorThe oral-B has a pressure sensor. It has a red light that blinks and the brush pulsates if too much pressure is applied. This could be the most important feature in addition to the strong enough motor. In reviewing the topic of electronic toothbrushes there is frequent discussion on damage that may be caused by pressing too hard.4) ReplacementsAs for the cost of replacement brushes, in my opinion the original oral-B replacements are on the expensive side. However, I have not yet shopped around and I suspect that there are aftermarket products that are cheaper, as with any well established product. Oral-B suggests to change the brushes every three months. Based on the length of usage the price may not be that high for an original quality replacement.Additional attributesQuiet operation and automatically powering down after two minutes of brushing were identified by the NY Times review as additional desirable features in the better electric toothbrushes. The oral-B is also very quite but does not automatically power down after two minutes. On a personal note, I rather it did not power down as I routinely brush my teeth for over two minutes. It does continue to time by pulsing every 30 seconds. The oral-B has desired features of the best named toothbrushes as identified by the NY Times. The only feature it lacks is shutting off automatically after two minutes. Again, that feature is somewhat irrelevant and even undesirable for me.The above identifies the features you can expect from this toothbrush and relates them to winners identified in a respectable review. The below relates my experience. The oral-B appears very solid and well made. It has a comfortable feel and is easy to maneuver. I find it to be effective and have not experienced bleeding or any uncomfortable sensations. The oscillation appears to be of a good distance and closely simulates an actual rotation. It feels powerful in that the oscillation is not hindered by applying reasonable pressure. The pressure sensor is a great feature as I have a tendency to press too hard at times. I have used the double A battery operated oral-B (like the ones purchased in general stores) and this is far, far better. The oscillation can be stopped with enough pressure on those electric toothbrushes but is difficult to prevent oscillation on this oral-B.All-in-all, this toothbrush stands up against others in the market and even has features that outperforms many. Having a pressure sensor is an important feature based on discussions on electric toothbrushes and the damage they can cause by pressing too hard. Therefore, if an oscillating brush is what you want I feel comfortable in stating that you are looking at a five star product.
