Customers say

Customers find the toothbrush compact and easy to hold. It’s small enough to access molars and corners of the mouth, making it perfect for small mouths and sensitive gums. The soft bristles are appreciated for being gentle on the gums and not irritating them. They say it cleans their teeth well and gets a good scrub in. However, some customers have mixed opinions on the softness and overall brush quality.

    Comfortable and effective toothbrush
I have had a hard time finding a toothbrush with truly soft bristles that is also small enough to comfortably brush around my back teeth. But I am loving this toothbrush! It cleans my teeth well. It fits well even in the back corners of my mouth and feels comfortable and gentle on my gums. I plan to order again!

    Finally found these toothbrushes
3-4 years ago I received one of these on my last dentist visit. I searched high and low. I either missed it on my Amazon search or they didn’t carry them previously. No store had them. These are the best. A soft brush is always recommended. But the bristles on these are superb. My best comparison is at the manual car wash, the brush has a million bristles. No matter how much pressure you apply you will not damage your car. The amount of bristles produces tons of lather and when you’re done it’s clean. Super soft brush, extremely safe and no damage. Extremely clean. And my original toothbrush from the dentist? I only tossed it when I got these home. Compared to a regular new Oral B, it was just as good. No way I could use it daily but I kept it and used it a couple of times a month, it was that good. That car wash brush….the bristle tips are softer than the rest of the bristle. You get the strength and integrity of the base of the bristle, but the part that touches your paint is soft and safe and your hard pressure can only enhance your cleaning effort but cannot damage your paint. Oral B and Amazon, your welcome:)

Perfect for Small Skulls and Sensitive Gums!
I have a tiny skull (especially compared to my husband’s larger one!) so a smaller toothbrush head just makes sense for me. This Oral-B Gum Care toothbrush is perfect—super comfortable to brush with, and the small head really gets into all the crevices. The bristles are incredibly soft and gentle on my gums, which is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a more delicate touch! This is the only toothbrush I buy!

    These toothbrushes are really great.
I noticed that some buyers have been unhappy that these toothbrushes are not extra soft. They are a little more firmer that I thought they’d be when I first bought some about a year ago, but I do like their bristle setup. They are soft enough for cleaning your teeth properly and gum safe as well, just don’t bear down hard which I tend to do and is not necessary for clean teeth. My periodontist cautioned me to never use the very soft post-surgery brushes on a daily basis as your main toothbrush – they are only for temporary use. I use post-surgical ones for a quick second brush and to brush my tongue since they are more gentle than a tongue brush even bearing down. All in all, I’d recommend these brushes to anyone!

Favorite toothbrush so far (it’s a long list)
While it is a soft toothbrush, the bristles are holding up well so far. What I really like are the dual length bristles, you can feel the smaller long sets really getting in-between your teeth as you brush. While it is listed as compact, its mostly short length wise but still plenty wide to get the whole tooth with each pass. I wanted a compact brush because I always have a hard time getting the outside of my back molars with a regular toothbrush, its still a snug fit but I think it will work for most people. The reason it is only getting 4 stars is because some of the bristles were not cut properly and are a few mm longer than the rest in their group.1 to 2 Month update: I am on to the next toothbrush. The bristles on this brush were so close together they were harder to keep clean and I am not sure they really dried out between brushes. No way I could have used this brush for 3 months. Leaving the 4 stars because it was a great toothbrush; cleaned my teeth really well and the bristles never got splayed out. From an environmental standpoint though, I just can’t be replacing my toothbrush every month.I am now using the Radius Source with the super soft flossing bristles. Liking it so far (early days). I have resisted purchasssing it before because of the rather large toothbrush head, but it tapers at the end which makes getting to those back teeth rather easy. You might check it out as an alternative.

    good quality
I like the extra soft toothbrushes which are hard to find. Good quality, easy to use. Will buy more as these wear out. Happy with oral B.

    Gentle but mighty
I have a mouthful of crowns and old large fillings. Even with the soft brush my dentist always gives me, I suffered constantly from sensitive and sore gums from brushing. This brush does not hurt my mouth, but my teeth feel amazingly clean after use. I wish I had found it months ago!
