Wish it were a little finer
Good floss. I have to force it just a bit to get between some of my closer teeth. Seems to do a good job of cleaning. I like the tape style of some regular floss brands, but regular floss is plastic and wreaks holy hell upon the environment. His stuff is expensive, but itâs virtuous and does the job fine.

Improved quality; can add to city compost
I liked the Ohm floss that came in the original bamboo cylinder. But, the refill pack didn’t do the job in those tight spots. The floss broke in the tight spaces in my mouth — which left me with a piece of floss that is broken four times every night. Then, I had to floss with the usual plastic floss in those spaces. I was very disappointed. Fortunately, I wrote to the company, and they were kind and diligent enough to work on an improvement and, once it was ready, provide me with a free replacement. Now, a piece of floss might break once between tight teeth, but not every time I floss. I am happy that I am able to set aside the plastic floss and toss the used Ohm floss in the city’s compost collection, since it is made of silk and wax. My experience with the company will make me a repeat buyer.

Breaks easily
I bought the Ohm bamboo floss holder a few months ago. I was pretty happy with what I received. The floss did shred a little bit, but worth it for something that is biodegradable. When the original spool that came with the bamboo holder was almost gone, I ordered this refill. It’s TERRIBLE. It shreds so easily that I’m using 3 to 4 times the amount of floss I would normally use. Not sure why the refill is so bad when the original spool was ok, but I’ll have to figure out a different eco friendly flossing solution now.

Love using this floss!
There’s a bit of a learning curve. It breaks occasionally, mostly when I don’t rotate the floss often enough or pull it taut too strongly. I love that I’m not putting plastics into my gumline or the environment! I love the Lotus flower bamboo container, it makes flossing a bit more pleasant ð

Used to be better, now shreds easily
EDIT: I did get a response from the company stating that they’re going to review their quality control practices and they offered me a refund. That’s a good sign for me and makes the purchase low risk so I’m giving them a star back.Like other recent reviews mention, something is different between getting a new floss kit a few months ago and getting this refill today.Original was great, the strongest eco friendly floss I had tried… This is now bottom of the barrel.Not sure if they’re pulling a switcheroo between the new kit and the refill it if they changed their manufacturing process but it’s not with getting anymore.

Update: I was contacted by a very kind and professional customer support for this company who explained to me why the product looked and fit so differently in my reusable container. They changed their formula and it’s now thinner and slides through teeth easier which I can confirm is true. The amount is the same. I personally preferred the original formula but the new formula is still above what I’ll find locally at the pharmacy. I really appreciate the time the company took to work with me on this and love that I can call this my favourite floss again!original review:I don’t have the numbers from before since the order brings to current product details, Ohm kept similar prices, but this latest roll of floss is considerably smaller than before, the refill has never fit in my reusable container until my latest order. Now it slipped in with so much clearance. This is a shame, this was my go-to floss as I felt it cleaned my teeth perfectly but it’s no longer worth the price.

I ran out of this floss and had to switch back to the plastic floss while I was waiting for my order. Every time I flossed, it hurt my gums. I am so grateful to have my silk floss back. My gums are happy. I’ve had no issues with the floss shredding like I read in some reviews. Before using this floss, I did not like flossing but now I have no problems flossing every night.Thank you. And I love that it’s biodegradable. Every little bit helps. Overall, best floss I’ve ever used.

So disappointed in this product. This floss is so brittle it’s impossible to floss with. It’s as though it had been languishing in the warehouse for years when I made the unfortunate decision to add to cart and proceed with purchase. I use-up to 1 meter every time I floss because it just breaks on me. On the bright side, I’m using it up quickly so I won’t have to put up with it much longer.

This is good floss. I like the bamboo container I originally bought with it and keep it on the table next to the couch (it looks way better than having a plastic white container in the living room and I like to get the popcorn husks out of my teeth right away). Being able to buy refills is great!!
