Fantastic Foundation Stick!
This was the 1st time I tried this product and this brand, and I must admit – the foundation stick was a pleasant suprise. It goes on as smooth as your natural skin and the color is a perfect match. It’s very lightweight, which I love because the makeup doesn’t feel like it’s cacked onto my face. It gives me a genuinely natural look. I’ll definitely be buying this again!

Causes skin reaction and breakout
I really wanted to like this makeup!! I had heard such wonderful things about it and it is absolutely beautiful! I loved the silky feel of it on my skin. Perfect coverage. Good, clean makeup is hard to come by! But I noticed as soon as I started wearing it that my skin became red and bumpy and started breaking out. I wanted to believe it was just hormonal changes so I gave it some time. It would get worse and worse as I wore it over a few days and I kept wearing it to cover up the awful breakouts, then I’d be home for a few days without makeup and my skin would clear up. I’d start wearing it again and same reaction! Anytime I wore it around my eyes, my eyes would burn and water all day. I gave it 2 months of wearing before I determined for certain that it was this makeup causing the reaction and painful breakout. I’m extremely disappointed for the amount of money I spent on it! I missed the return window because I didn’t realize in time that this was for sure the culprit.

Creamy formula with a dewy finish
I’m in my 40s with more mature skin and I love this product. A little goes a long way. Oily skin girls beware. I have combo/ oily skin so I am not very heavy handed with application because it does give a very dewy finish which I’m okay with. If you are looking for more of a matte to semi matte finish this might not be the product for you unless you skin tends to run on the drier side.

Beta products/companies are risky
Not for me. This product has oil patches that kind of separate on the surface of the stick. It doesnât stay on and after hours of wearing Ogee products they melt into your pores and dry skin. It looks pretty good when you first put it on and is very soft and smooth. It feels like skincare. The problem for me with all of the products Iâve tried is that theyâre super oily which just doesnât stay on your skin very well. I recently tried this and Ilmakiage on my 39 yr old skin and had to go back to my tried and true Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer. The difference in defaulting to a company with lots of research and development behind them is profound. Ilmakiage doesnât live up to any of their claims and neither did Ogee products for me. I hope to see better formulations from Ogee in the future as I love the feel of their products, I just wish they would actually cover acne and stay put. For reference I do not have oily or dry skin (although trentinoin can make it dry when I use it).

I am older lady, this makeup does not get into my creases. I usually put a cream or oil underneath. Blends well, I might try to liquid too. Does not give me a breakout either

Itâs nice
It matched my skin color perfectly, but sits on top of my skin. It can make me look like I have a layer of makeup caked onto my face after I tried to blend it in. The coverage is good. Covers up redness- but after a while I can see it on my skin looking not blended into my skin. I donât even use that much. I do like the smooth stick application. But also, It does have a smell to it that took a minute to get use to.Iâm still trying to decide if I will use this long term because I hate looking in a mirror in the middle of the day and seeing my foundation kind of blotching on my face like I didnât rub it in. And when I try to in the middle of the day, it comes off. Itâs very odd. Never had this before.

Love this makeup!
I love this makeup. I have oily skin, but am over 40. I find this makeup melts into my skin without looking too shiney. I also struggle with hormonal acne breakouts, and I find this does not aggravate or worsen this. It is light to buildable medium coverage, very much a more natural look. I also got the contour collection, and love the easy application of it. I like that it is nontoxic, organic and has skin benefits. I will not go back to my old makeup! I use this lighter color under my eyes as concealer.
