Fantastic soap and a fantastic bargain!
The review is for the “O Naturals 3 Pack Activated Charcoal Soap Black Bar Soap with Peppermint Oil”The reviews for these products all seem jumbled together.I am an adult male with sensitive sikin. I wanted to switch to a lower-priced animal/environmentally-friendly face soap than the expensive ($50-$70/bar) brand-name product I’d been using for literally decades.I found this soap to be awesome! Gentle, yet it does deep clean and the fragrance is pleasant. I saw some other reviews saying the soap doesn’t last. I can only assume that might be for other styles of soap, since again, Amazon is jumbling the reviews for a wide range of products. With daily, sometimes twice daily use, a single bar lasted about 8 months, which is comparable to the brand-name product I had been using. And this was a 3-pack for $15! My only regret is not having switched years ago!

Itâs soap, and it works. Smells good, feels clean, and doesnât dry out my skin. The peppermint is a nice touch. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done!

I’m pleased that I was able to find a collection of natural soaps for such a reasonable price. I’m in love with the short ingredients list on the soap sleeves. I used one for the first time today–I picked the Bergamot bar–and was also pleased with the smooth lather it made. It was good enough to shave with, and my skin did not feel dried out after using. (which, yay. bar soaps do that to me more often than not, so I love that these didn’t).To nitpick, I’d been under the impression that they were scented with real essential oils, but they are not. The soap sleeve clearly indicates that they are scented with “parfum” (perfume). They smell pleasant, but they do smell like perfumed scents (not the real essential oils), and they smell mostly the same (except the lemon and grapefruit). To be fair, this is my misunderstanding, as the Amazon ad in no way indicates that they DO include essential oils. I just happened to click over from another one of their sets that actually does, then didn’t bother verifying that this one did, too. To others like me who are sensitive to manufactured scents, though, please take this into account. However, I can’t fault the actual product–the soaps are great quality, and I’m sure 98% of people won’t care one way or another and will find the scents pleasant, cheerful, and mild.Last note: I love the packaging. They come in a cute little orange box, and the illustrations on the individual soap sleeves are beautiful. I feel like this would make a great gift for someone.

If you are looking for soap that lathers up real well this is definitely for you. Besides that the smell is non existent and each bar should last you maybe a week or around 5 days depending on how much you shower. Gave it a shot but overall not the best outcome for me.

Fabulous soap
I opened the package and I could definitely smell all the wonderful scents in these soaps. The bars are a perfect size. I have only tried one bar so far, but I could not be happier with the way it lathers up. Its hard to say about the moisturizing and longevity part of this review, but I believe at least one of the bars that is labeled as moisturizing will do just what it claims. It had the feel of a moisturizing bar of soap. What I am really interested in seeing is whether or not these soaps create an increase in soap scum in the tub. Many of the old-fashioned lye soaps definitely did. I had switched to a liquid body wash because they don’t create scum. I don’t believe these bars will either, which is why I am trying them. At this point, I am very happy with them. The only thing I would have liked to see is that each bar was completely wrapped since it will take time to use them all. The only thing wrapping the bars was a short band stating which bar it is and what its prime purpose is. I would have liked them to be better preserved so that I can store them outside of the box they came in. That original box just doesn’t fit the space I have on my shelf. What I did was wrap each one up in parchment paper and tape it. That way I can stack them how I need to on the shelf until I’m ready to get one. Don’t know if parchment is great for keeping them fresh, but it definitely keeps them from getting messed up. If you are against added plastic wraps in the environment, you’ll love these. Maybe you have a better idea for keeping them fresh and environment-friendly at the same time.

Great for oily skin. Not as pore-refining as I’d like but I may have to use it more or maybe purchase a charcoal mask and use my clay mask instead. This is safe to use on the face. It is mild and has soothing menthol in it. Creates nice lather. This is a great cleanser and feels better than chemical soap products as its more natural and doesn’t create dry ashy skin afterward. You will feel squeaky clean in a good way. I would say its good for oily and combination skin as it draws oil and dirt from the skin and detoxifies. Not sure how this would work on dry skin. I think this would also be a good foam cleanser to use after using makeup remover oil/micellar-water/balm/wipes, cuz you can build up a lather and get that squeaky clean feeling. This is good to use on the back and body as well. Could help with back acne.
