Well done NYX, prob my fav lip product now.
I loved this. It feels unlike any other gloss ived owned. The initial application is beautiful and smooth, no bad smell or taste. The gloss lasts an hour or 2 without much disruption, once it does come off, the stain that’s left is beautiful!!! I throw a regular chapstick or gloss over that to keep the prettiness going. I’ll work a 9 hour day and come home looking like a drowned rat but my lips still look pretty, that’s one application. I’ve actually never done 2 applications, I bet that would be spectacular, I’m just lazy. The one bad thing is, I think this does disrupt my lip skin barrier a bit, but what doesn’t, unless it’s an organic chapstick and you’ve had 800 oz of water that week. I need more colors now!!! I love everything NYX does. From quality to longevity within the most affordable price, to color choices and options of eye face and lip products.

Hydra Honey is a great shade for all skin tones.
I got the 02 Hydra and 05 Mocha. I didn’t like the Mocha one’s color – wayyy too dark on my NC43 skin IMO. Looks like a very dark reddish-brown. However, some people with my same skin tone do like that shade and it looks nicer on them. The Hydra one is much nicer for me. I apply with a light hand, I’ve noticed that if I apply too much, it looks kind of grey on my multi-toned lips. The gloss itself is more wet and less sticky. I really like that. Also, it fades to a very natural looking pink, I absolutely love it. The gloss stays on for a while, but does rub off quickly if you eat or drink. The beautiful stain stays ALL DAY. This is now my staple everyday.

Finally a Great Lip Stain!
I’ve used NYX lip products for years, like the butter glosses and fat lip oils. They never miss, but this one is my new favorite. I’ve had such trouble finding a good stain before this. It’s literally the best, most pigmented gloss, lipstick and stain in one. I like to wear it glossy at first, then I can blot away the excess for a more satin lipstick look, and then when I wipe it all off or it wears away, a good amount of color is still there. Smells good, no taste, applicator is a pleasing shape, and moisturizes instead of drying your lips out. A 10/10 lip product 😊💋💄

Very nicely pigmented product
Beautiful pigmentation goes on without clumping and no need to shake prior to application. Leaves lips feeling soft and hydrated after long wear. No fragrance applies lightly but evenly without feeling goopy. When windy, hairs do not catch in the oil. My only disappointment is that there is some transfer, so need for care if applying prior pull-over styles. Also pigmentation is not as long-lasting as I had hoped.

It goes on very shiny and throughout the day settles down into a nice stain. Non-drying. The initial colour can be quite dark.
