My entire life I’ve been searching for the perfect shampoo and conditioner for my hair. I have long, thick and curly hair. Matted knots are a constant part of my life. No matter what I do or how much I brush my hair it just turns into knots.The perfect conditioner to me was the conditioner you would get in hair dye boxes and I’ve always been looking for that in a bottle. While this doesn’t untangle knots as easily as the dye conditioner, it prevents them.I don’t know what it is about this shampoo and conditioner, but it untangles my hair easily and the next day when I brush my hair there are virtually no knots. I’ve gone as much as 3 days without brushing. Keeping my hair up in a bun which is murder on my hair during sleep but I have found that if I get any knots they are barely there.This is definitely a duo that I will use for the rest of my days and I have never said that about any other products. This just works for me.The smell has kinda a weird scent in it. Sometimes when I smell it I like it but others it gets me kinda queasy. I don’t know how to describe it.This shampoo and conditioner is kind of expensive as well. I would have never bought this if I didn’t get a sample of it. I usually don’t pay this much for hair products but it’s well worth it.One thing I have noticed is I have flakes in my hair since using this. I am very careful about washing it all out of my hair and my shower has amazing water pressure. But it’s just a little bit not a big deal.This is by no means a miracle product I’m not gonna say it’s the answer but it is the best I have ever put in my hair. And it’s working for me better than any other out there.The shampoo is special too though. Usually when I use any shampoo, and I’ve used many many different kinds that have been more expensive than this, but usually after rinsing out shampoo my hair feels like straw in the water and I can’t run my fingers through it. Which is pretty normal with all shampoo that’s why we have conditioner.But with this shampoo my hair feels like it could have been conditioner because I can run my fingers through it with no snag. The lather is rich and it feels silky almost like shaving cream. I could probably take a shower with just the shampoo and be able to comb my hair… I haven’t been brave enough to try but it feels amazing.I encourage others to try this if you have the money. It’s made my routine much easier and before I would dread taking a shower because I knew the brushing was gonna hurt. Now showering is a normal task because this product leaves a long lasting effect on my hair.If I had to choose between the conditioner and shampoo I would probably pick the shampoo which is weird to say.Thank you.

The best conditioner!
If you have dry brittle hair you should get it. If you have healthy hair you should get it. Basically, anyone with hair should get it! This is my go to deep conditioner. Have been using this since childhood. Recommended by my hairstylist mom. The thick creamy texture is the same from years ago, but I miss the coconut scent. Now a more floral scent, I still love it though. Your hair will feel silky soft and healthy. Leave on for 15-30 mins for a deep conditioning. This stuff is amazing! Definitely worth the price.

Iâve been using Matrix smoothing shampoo and conditioner for years and and have been looking for something similar because it doesnât seem to work the same as before. My hair is very fine, and tangles super easily. Itâs damaged and dry from years of bleaching, styling, sun, and chlorine. I was looking for something to hydrate and smooth my hair. I would probably buy this again. I notice I can actually run my fingers through my hair even hours after brushing it and then being active. With Matrix, my hair would be tangled underneath near my neck just shortly after having it all brushed out. My hair isnât as shiny with this, and I think the smell is too masculine. It does help with frizz and tangles though, and seems to keep my hair hydrated and soft. Also, the ends of my hair started looking healthier after using this for a week or so. Overall, I would recommend this to someone who has damaged, dry hair.

Not the same scent I remember
Just received the conditioner today. I opened it to smell and found that it did not smell the same as what I thought the smell was from when I was a cosmetologist in the late 1980s. I rubbed some on my hand and it has a very good moisturizing feel. Can’t wait to see if it works on my hair like I remember it, but sad that the smell did not trigger memories the original white bottle. I thought it used to have an almond scent to it. Have not bought Nexxus products in a couple of decades because I could not find them so I gave up looking and than thought as long as I was looking on Amazon for something why not see if Amazon has it. Glad to have found sad that the smell is not as my memories had it.Update: used it and was very disappointed. I returned it right away the same day I tried it. The smell was such a strong smell when it hit my hair and than changed to s smell like melting rubber. It took forever to rinse the product out and still felt sticky and bad smell. Did some researce and found that Nexxus was sold to a different company. No wonder it is not top notch product like it used to be, also noticed it contains ingredients that are not original to the the science and nature based original product that I was so proud to sell to my clients and myself in the 80’s. Just got the shampoo I ordered also and that will be getting returned also.

No more frizzy hair!
I absolutely love this conditioner! My hair was dry and frizzy now itâs nice and shiny with very little frizz and I only used it twice. Canât wait to see how much better it gets. Great product!

I donât normally write reviews because I have no time, this one though, had to be written. I have been on a hair re-growth journey for the last six months, the conditioner I purchased in Japan had run out, sadly so I had to find something else to replace it with. I damaged my hair by bleaching it, high pony tails, and heat styling, etc..Iâm now back to my natural brunette colour with a caramel balayage that has grown out beautifully.I did some research, found this brand and decided to try it. It smells amazing, sweet/ musky, but not over powering, it makes my hair incredibly soft, and you donât need a lot, focus on applying product midway to the ends, I have shoulder length hair thatâs fine but dense and it works like absolute sorcery. No greasy feeling just soft touchable hair. I will most certainly buy again!
