    Lifesaver- literally!
    Hereditary high cholesterol runs in my family. And of course I have it. Paired with diet (more so watching what I’m eating) and exercise (more so adding in lifting weights or at least walking once a day for 30 mins) these helped reduce my cholesterol from 456 to 170 in 3 months! Start off with taking 2 pills a day – next month increase to 3- final month take 4 pills. Do not exceed more than 4 pills a day. There’s really no flavor- but if I take with water I kinda of taste a little something but it’s tolerable. MAKE SURE you Take CoQ10 at the same time to avoid muscle cramping. So happy I found this product and don’t have to take harsh cholesterol meds.

    I ended up splitting the dose as I am using it for bone building.
    I am following Robert Pirello’s advice about red yeast rice as a bone building ingredient. He mentions in his book that the rice may contain the same ingredients as are in lovastatin, which I do not take. So I am erring on the side of caution by taking 2 200 mg per day of Red Yeast Rice. The National Institute of Health has research in favor of red yeast rice as being helpful with osteoporosis, with small sample sizes and animals. Since I have broken 3 ribs and an elbow in the last 3 years, I am willing to take a chance.

    Great product
    For those who don’t know, this ingredient is one of the exact ingredients used in a non-statin cholesterol reducer. That is why I got it. I cannot take statins, so I’m trying a natural way to reduce my cholesterol.. I’m sure it will go down since it’s the main ingredient of a non-statin pharmaceutical drug. The capsules are a little bit large, yet I also have a problem swallowing pills so for most people that won’t be an issue. I did find a way I could swallow it so it is working quite well.Highly recommend you trying this before you go on a pharmaceutical drug.

    Promising but too early to know.
    It’s too soon to rate this product, but studies indicate that red rice yeast may be as beneficial as commercial statins.Ask me again in a month or two after I get my cholesterol checked and I’ll be more able to accurately comment.
