Lathers up, but the scent is strong
I thought that this really lathered up well, better than I thought it would, but the scent is rather strong. I thought that it washed my hair pretty well, easy to use, but it didnât make my hair exceptionally shiny or soft. It does get the job done and is great for travel.

Works well for cleansing hair and works against dandruff. Leaves hair feeling clean and soft. Rinses clean with no residue.

Product didnât look like expected
The shampoo bar was supposed to be a light color yet it did come in the right package but looks exactly like the one for dry hair. The other big downside is unlike the last bar I got from a different seller that was smaller this one would when it dried out get stuck to the tub and you had to fight to pry it off if you werenât strong enough or get it a bit wet first to make it easier which the other one from a different seller didnât have this issue but canât buy the other one as itâs no longer around. To add to it, this one leaves a slight stain on the tub you have to wash off after every use which is so annoying. Would rate higher if the product didnât have these issues

Shampoo bars like this are the way to go. They take up so little space compared to plastic bottles of shampoo. They are perfect for travel. They do still lather well. I usually get the bar wet and then rub it directly on my hair all the way down.

Great alternative
I have been on a shampoo bar kick for a while due to them lasting much longer and cleaning my hair just as well (if not better) than liquid shampoo. This shampoo bar is just what I’d hoped. It lathers well and rinses clean to reveal super clean hair. It does dry me out a little but it IS for oil control so it is likely just not the right fit for my curly, frizzy hair (that usually needs a lot of moisture love). The smell is pleasant – kind of a floral scent but it does not stick in your hair and is not overwhelming. Overall, solid shampoo bar and I think the $10 price tag is totally fair because these bars last a long time.
