Really Works!!
I’ve been using MyChelle products since 2006, and I’ve never had any of their products produce a rash or other problem of any kind. The Solar Defense SPF30 is the best facial sunscreen I’ve ever used. There is no white film – EVER!! – and is goes on easily. I don’t stay out in the sun for very long…only on my daily walks which I take on trails in the woods. But, I use sunscreen because anytime that I’m outdoors, even on cloudy days, those rays are hitting me whether I see the sun or not. The reviewer who showed pictures of the “rash” this sunscreen produced looked more like a sunburn since it was only on exposed skin. If it was a rash, it would have shown up on unexposed skin…I don’t know anyone who puts sunscreen on without getting at least a little of it on unexposed skin. One would have to be unbelievably careful to not get even a bit of the sunscreen on unexposed skin or her skin is just extremely sensitive to any product she puts on it. I hope she figures it out, because her review will probably stop some people from trying MyChelle products…and that would be a shame, because their products are clean and effective with a whole line devoted to sensitive skin.

Matte sunscreen
This sunscreen dries very fast. Its has a matte finish. It doesnât spread smoothly but it works perfect for make up.

Only face sunscreen I have bought in over 5 years.
I have sensitive skin/eczema so I am very nervous about the products I use. I use this sunscreen daily for the last 5 years, and it has been absolutely amazing as it also has hydrating ingredient. Despite the rebranding/look, I havenât noticed any difference in the formula. I love that it has a very neutral/subtle scent. The consistency isnât too thick, is non-greasy, and doesnât leave a a significantly visible white tint/skin. I donât wear foundation, but I imagine it would be thin enough to wear underneath. Huge fan and donât plan on trying anything else anytime soon.

The ONLY Sunscreen I Will Ever Buy (until further notice)
I bought this because I love the smell of coconut and because I’ve been trying to find a sunscreen for my face that doesn’t leave an oily residue and that doesn’t burn my eyes. This sunscreen exceeds my expectations. It goes on smooth and creamy, has a light, pleasant fragrance, does not burn my eyes. I accidentally got some a little too close to my mouth and got a taste of it and was surprised to find that it wasn’t disgusting like other sunscreens I might have accidentally “tasted” in the past. My husband was very skeptical about its supposed non-oiliness even after I raved about it, but I got him to give it a try and now he loves it, too! I will defininitely be buying this again. Amazon seems to have the best pricing. Go, Amazon!UPDATE: June 2015I had completely forgotten that I tried this product. I still don’t remember trying this product. And yet, here is my honest review, that is no different than the review I was just about to write about this sunscreen.I was traveling two weeks ago and had not remembered to bring sunscreen. I purchased this sunscreen from a grocery store for like, $22 or something like that. I felt confident trying it since I love using MyChelle’s Oil-Free Grapefruit Face Lotion. I am blown away, again. Even if I don’t remember trying it before, my thoughts after using it exclusively for an all over sunscreen are — it’s worth the money!!!!!Amazing sunblock protection: I didn’t get sunburned. I had no breakouts. No stinging in the eyes, no icky chemical sunscreen smell/taste that we normally associate with applying sunscreen. This sunscreen changes the way I see sunscreen. Does not leave any kind of oily film. I will not buy another sunscreen ever again. The tube is on the smaller side for a sunscreen, but the quality is such that a little goes a long way!

Mineral sunscreen stick review – this one smells the worst
Iâm writing a review for this product as well as a number of other mineral sunscreen sticks (MSS) after testing a bunch of themâscroll down to point #6 below if you want to know which one I thought was the best. Iâve placed this exact review on every single other MSS I used. I specifically elected to go with mineral-based sunscreensâlots of talk on the environmental effects of the other sunscreens (not sure how much of this is actually true, but Iâm willing to avoid the non-mineral sunscreens given the minimal investment on my part). Here are a few important points about this review:1. No one paid me to write this review. I put down my own $140 to get all 13 of these MSSs. I just wanted to find the best one by limiting as much bias as possible. Yes, my wife definitely gave me the youâre-crazy-but-I-guess-Iâm-stuck-now look.2. Quick sunscreen tutorial. Most dermatologists say we should try to get an SPF of 30+. Each 1% of zinc counts for 1.6 SPF, so to hit SPF 30, your zinc has to be 18.75%+. Each 1% of titanium counts for 2.6 SPF, so a combination of zinc and titanium could get you to SPF 30 as well. Titanium apparently isnât good enough to block UV-A (cancer causing and photo-aging) light on its own, so you must add zinc to it. I calculated the SPF based on the stated zinc and titanium percentages on the label and these calculations were usually different from the quoted SPFs (they might be adding more SPFs from other ingredients, but I canât say for sure). Nine of the 13 MSSs had calculated SPFs 30+. Only 4 of the 13 had a calculated SPF greater than or equal to the label SPF.3. Because I canât judge cancer prevention or aging blockade in the short term, avoiding burns and eye irritation are the most important immediately observable elements of an MSS. Every MSS I tested did equally well in burn avoidance and eye irritation avoidance.4. It should be noted that Iâm not Caucasian, Iâm South Asian. If you donât know what that is exactly, Wikipedia it or watch some Russell Peters standup comedy (his old stuff, not his new stuff). My skin color is probably similar to that of Benjamin Bratt (mind you, weâre talking about his skin color only⦠Iâm not even in the same galaxy of overall looks as he is, much to my wifeâs chagrin). The ability of a white-colored MSS to blend is crucial for me. And yes, even brown people like me need sunscreen. It would absolutely suck for me as a South Asian to have a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension, skillfully dodge those bullets with diet and exercise and luck, only to get taken out by skin cancer.5. I like most scents. It seems like so many things are going unscented nowâan MSS that is truly unscented is okay, but a lot of things labeled âunscented,â actually have an odd, unpleasant (sort of like bad oatmeal) smell to them. The scent score is logged as a â3â if itâs truly unscented, a â5â if it has a great scent, and a â1â if it smells bad.6. Hereâs the final conclusion. Only 3 of the 13 MSSs I tested had the following combination of characteristics: calculated SPF 30+, smell score 3+, and blend score 4+. These top three were: Neutrogena Sheer Zinc, Aveeno Positively Mineral, and Blue Lizard. When you factor in cost, itâs a no-brainerâNeutrogena and Aveeno were only half the cost of Blue Lizard. Therefore, my two winners (tied for first place) are Neutrogena Sheer Zinc and Aveeno Positively Mineral. Honorable mention for Blue Lizardâtwice as expensive as the others, but might be slightly easier to maneuver on your face given the smaller size stick (this is a stretch compliment for Blue LizardâI think NSZ and APM are just better).Hope this helps you select your next mineral sunscreen stick!A^2
not telling my name –
I have very, very sensitive skin and this product is great! No rashes, no breaking out, no itching. My skin seems to tolerate it just fine. Also, there’s no white layer on the skin which is superb as most other zinc-based sunscreens do leave a white layer on your skin, which makes you look totally silly^^ I wouldn’t care so much if I were to just use these sunscreens on the beach or so, but when you want to go out in public, or to work, or just use it as a base for makeup, zinc-based sunscreens weren’t very good. Well, with this one, it is possible to go out in public without looking like Snow White haha xD Can also be used under makeup. Great product!

New HG mineral sunscreen. I’m Fitzpatrick SkinType IV and after an endless quest, this is the first one I’ve found that doesn’t leave a marked whitecast that makes me look like Caspar! Glides on smoothly, non-oily and initial whitecast dissappears after a few minutes. Dries down fast too!Update: recently bought the unscented version. Find that its slightly thicker and prefer the coconut one.

Proteje muy bien la piel del sol. Y si ya esta la piel roja la sana. Lo único malo es que esta muy pequeño el producto. Lástima que ya no hay.
