The best collagen powder
I’m on my 2nd bag of this. I have followed Mama Natural throughout my pregnancy and bought this collagen early in my 2nd trimester. I have used a different brand before that I like but was not 100% sure it was safe for pregnancy, so I decided to try this one. I like it even better than the previous one! I was always sensitive to the taste of other collagen products, I feel like they always have that gross beef-ish taste. Mama Natural collagen powder is completely tasteless, I add it to my coffee every morning. It also dissolves really well, and doesn’t just settle on the bottom of my mug. My skin and nails are the best they’ve ever been, and since it has protein it helps with getting a little protein in before my breakfast (I’m never hungry first thing in the morning). I’ll continue to use this brand collagen powder even after I have my baby, mama Natural uses top notch ingredients and is reasonably priced.

My favorite Brand of Collagen
Mama Natural Multi Collagen Protein is the only collagen powder I buy. It contains collagen types I, II, III, IV, V, and X. It is unflavored, non GMO, gluten free and dairy free. I put it in my morning coffee each day. It is a bit pricey but after trying other less expensive brands, I didn’t feel they worked as well as far as strengthening my nails, and making my hair healthy and strong. It is made for Mamas but I am a grandma and feel it is effective for me. If you’re looking for a quality collagen product– this is the one.

I tried probably 10 different samples of collagen from different places and all of them were thick and not very nice tasting. I thought that’s how all collagen tasted until this one! I actually love the taste! It’s hard to describe…it’s almost like powdered milk! I love to dissolve it in my London Fog in the morning. I think it makes my drink yummier so I look forward to it every time! It’s so easy too. I just put it in my hot drink and stir it for a second with a spoon. I’ve added it to chocolate milk and it’s delicious in my opinion! I never thought collagen could be yummy! I’m 3.5 months postpartum and was worried that my hair stopped growing so I looked for collagen to help with that. Lucky for me, my leg hairs have started growing again! Now I need to shave like I used to! But most importantly, I hope that passes to my breast milk and baby can have some too :)Thank you, Genevieve, for a great product!! I really love it!!

Pretty good…but the taste, smell and clumpiness
Update: I am almost done with my second container and ordered a third. I learned (which may be completely obvious to others) that I cannot add collagen with ice. The ice was causing it to clump. I like that it helps keep me full. I add it to my coffee every morning. My nails do feel a little stronger, but mostly I’ve noticed my skin start to change. The elasticity is coming back :). As someone who dry heaves at the smell of gelatin, I did get used to the collagen.I am new to taking collagen. This one seemed perfect. The packaging said it can be added to hot and cold beverages. I drink iced coffees every morning so figured I could add it in my coffee. Even in a shaker bottle, it clumps when its cold. Clumps to the point where you get chunks. I’ve had more success with warmer drinks, but the smell or taste is sometimes strong.I don’t love it, but I trust it and do think it is a good product. I will likely buy it again.

This collagen is priced right and easy to use. I dissolve it in tea in the evening and itâs very helpful for sleep. It has all of the necessary collagens and pure ingredients.

Iâve used several different types of collagen. This one is probably the best mixes well in hot liquids mixes in cold liquids as well. I did try mixing in like applesauce and cottage cheese. It did not mix well so donât recommend that but great for smoothies coffee tea.
