Our Story
Dr. Mostamand created Ageless Derma to offer you healthy, highly effective, and professional skincare and baked mineral makeup with vitamins and natural ingredients, as he believes that healthy skin is glowing.
We have offered Ageless Derma in our medical spa in California since 2006. Ageless Derma products are formulated with restrictive safety guidelines in the United States and Canada. Our baked makeup is handcrafted in Italy.
Healthy skin is a glowing skin
How did we get our start?
In 2006 Dr. Mostamand founded Focus Medical Spa, which offered healthy premium skincare products and mineral makeup.
While writing his book ageless skin obsession, he learned that the high cost of skin care and cosmetic come from distribution and marketing, not high-quality ingredients. He also learned that most ingredients are dangerous and harmful to the skin. In 2011 he founded Ageless Derma to offer healthy premium products at a lower cost.

Excellent powder foundation
I love this foundation powder. I have purchased it a few times. I think the price is fair. It’s made with good ingredients and it lasts a while. It is very similar to the Laura Geller powder foundation. It is light to medium coverage. It will easily last eight hours. I’m in my 30s and only have expression lines on my forehead. The foundation does not look cakey. I usually have moisturizer or sunscreen on underneath it. The antique beige shade looks best on me. I have light/medium Caucasian skin. In Laura geller, I wear medium and in bare minerals, I wear medium beige, which may help some people determine their correct shade. I have the Dover beige too but it’s too light on me.

A Must Buy
I have aging skin but it is still in good shape. Since being homebound due to Covid, I can no longer tolerate wearing liquid makeup and I don’t know how I ever put up with the mess. I was originally looking at Laura Geller’s baked mineral foundation but she offers miniscule, over-priced sizes for what you get. I found this mineral foundation that is also baked and made in Italy just like Laura Gellers, but comes in a larger size and is a lower priced alternative. I can’t tell you how amazing this product is. I will never go back to using liquids again. My skin looks so smooth and the minor flaws I do have were blurred and covered so well. This gives you a beautiful matte finish. I ordered the Antique Beige and love it so much. The coverage is light but sufficient, not like messy liquid foundations that weigh you down. My sister has much lighter skin than I and the Antique Beige adjusts beautifully to match her skin tone. Everyone should give this a try.

Not for mature skin, but ok
This does cover up dark spots and dark circles around eyes, but it settles into creases too, so it’s not the perfect powder, but it’s fast and from a distance looks ok.

Really evens out skin tone like it says it will.
I have to say, I have been a firm supporter of the mineral loose powder foundations, being that I have always had oily skin. I am now in my 50âs, and decided to try this baked foundation. I chose this one because it has less ingredients, and it appears healthy ones. It really evens out my fair, somewhat uneven skin tone. And my skin actually feels softer. I havenât had time to apply primer. Havenât needed moisturizer yet. So I just put it on my skin. I really like itð»

Best Powder Foundation For Mature Skin
This powder foundation is perfect for my 62 yrs young skin! Easy application for busy mornings and it feels so light – as if I’m not wearing foundation at all. I use a slightly rounded kabuki brush and gently buff it in. Only need 1 application to cover slight imperfections and some redness. If I want more coverage, I just use a bit of concealer beforehand. This foundation is buildable if needed. It doesn’t appear cakey/dry on the skin, nor does it settle into fine lines/wrinkles. My skin tone is medium with a neutral undertone. The Simply Beige shade gives me a “slight tan” look, which I love, especially for summer. However, I do plan to use it year round. There is considerable amount of product in the mirrored compact so this will last me a nice, long while. Highly recommend for any age but especially Mature skin!

Easy to Apply!
I am fair skinned and ordered the Dover Beige, which is a little light but does help in covering my Rosacea along with their color correcting foundation. I was Leary of trying a mineral foundation or any mineral product, but I am a believer with these products. It is ten times better than a cream or liquid foundation and it makes getting ready faster, and it does not find its way to my cracks and wrinkles like cream foundation does. My skin feels better, and it helps control the oil. This product is Great, but next time I’ll try a shade darker and what happens.

Nice mineral foundation
I ordered Ageless Derma to try because my Laura Geller fell and broke into a million pieces. I like the fact that it is vegan and free of many chemicals. I ordered antique beige and it seems to be the right color. I have dark hair and eyes, and light/medium skin. I like it and it looks nice. My only complaint is I wish more direction was given as to the colors and what would look good, perhaps some photos.

A brutally honest review
I am really sad to write this review, but here we go. My skin looks ten years older than it is. I have been looking for a new foundation and remember my mother using this in her 60s before she died from cancer. Well, being very conscious of carcinogenic products, I checked the ingredients. Mica is the first ingredient listed, which is of course very carcinogenic, but only when inhaled. I didn’t intend on snorting it, just brushing it on my face, so it seemed okay for the time being. It arrives, I swirl my brush around to get some powder, and of course a huge cloud of mica dust clouds up the bathroom. I step out, holding the brush, and get some fresh air. Then holding my breath, brush the make up on my face, because we’re already in this too deep. Meh. It really doesn’t cover up or improve anything. I wouldn’t even notice that I had put anything on except for the fact that my face feels heavier in a bad way, and my chin feels powdery/plasticy like a corpse. Honestly, even if it did look good, I don’t think the constant exposure to mica dust is worth it. But it doesn’t look good, it doesn’t look like anything. So I’m sending it back to start anew.
