This shower is okay. The different choices for the shower spray is nice (rainfall, handheld, or side spray) but competitors offer this as well. There is no user manual for how to use the control panel controls so you have to guess. The panel stays on for awhile after shutting the unit off so you don’t know right away if you have shut the controls off. The seat does fold up but will not stay up on its own. The seller stated we have to attach Velcro or use wedges to keep it up which is helpful to know; however, from the description I expected the seat to flip up and stay up on its own (what good is a flip up seat if you have to hold it up?). Installation is difficult. I had a very competent contractor install and he stated he would never install one again (for himself, family, or otherwise) though he did like the idea of the steam shower. The installation guide states “contact technical guy”. In addition, the delivery truck could not deliver down our road (completely paved but a turn around) so my husband had to meet the delivery person in a business truck where they loaded it into my husband’s pickup truck.

The shower is okay, but just okay. A friend of mine bought a really nice steam shower from luxuryshowerroom.com, which actually worked quite well, but I had Amazon points from my Discover card, and wanted to buy a shower from a more well known company. While my friend’s control panel worked well, the one this one tender to lag. His shower also never leaked, but this one did. Other than that, this was essentially what I had expected from the shower.
