BUYER BEWARE / Poor Product / Air flow clogs after each use
BUYER BEWARE!!!! This is my 2nd BREEZE Duo that I ordered in the last 6 months. The first one I ordered in July and it stopped working after the first use, I returned the item and got a replacement and now only 4 months later, doesn’t spray again. Please keep in mind I airbrush everyday, I clean it every day and it is charged right after use every morning. I was past the return window from Amazon and was told to reach out to Luminess direct as they have a 1 year warranty on their product. When I contacted them to tell them what happened they were charging me to replace the defective unit. I paid $200.00 for this product, they state they have a 1 year warranty so I shouldn’t have to pay ANYTHING for a replacement. Like I stated above, I clean my unit after each and every use however due to how it’s built you can’t get in to the needle and inner workings of the head so the makeup builds up over time after each use and clogs the air flow. Next thing you know, this unit sprays your face in blotches and uneven spray. I tried all the troubleshooting videos they have on you tube, I use an actual air brush cleaner, not just water and take care of my airbrush units. I’ve been using airbrush for years and this is by far one of the worst products I’ve ever purchased. Only thing good about it’s cord free and if you only use every once in a while during travel, this may be for you but definitely not better than a stylus version.

Updated review: The device broke after probably 15 uses. I cleaned it very carefully and meticulously according to instructions in their videos. I called the company for a replacement, and the wait for the new device is really, really long. I’m not thrilled with them. I need to use this brand’s makeup because I have allergies to ingredients in competitor brands. If you don’t have any sensitivities, choose another company. This device produces a truly lovely look, and they have very few ingredients and few known irritants. The silk 4 in 1 is ideal for sensitive skin. It can cover even serious skin conditions. The reservoir is small and you often need more than the 6 recommended drops, and even if you only use 6 drops, you’ll use a bottle up fast. This is the most costly foundation I have ever encountered in my life because it’s not just $44. It might be $44 every other week! It’s very easily removed with the tiniest bit of liquid, so a drop of rain or the slightest runny nose can ruin it-I ordered the setting spray to see if that helps. The other problem? All the bad reviews about Luminesse turned out to be true. If you buy from the company, they will put you on a subscription plan. I actually called and ordered through a representative to avoid this. He assured me there was no subscription, but no sooner did we hang up, I saw a scheduled $41 charge for next month. They straight up are dishonest. My advice is to only buy the makeup through Amazon so that sleezy company doesn’t have your credit card info. Don’t buy direct. And if you aren’t super sensitive, maybe use Temptu instead.

Powerful
Works great, very powerful, holds a battery charge for quite a long time. Easy cleanup.

Disappointing
I wanted to love this product but it just doesn’t live up to its advertising. It is easy to use once you watch the videos and follow the instructions and it does provide a light, even coverage. I’ve had the Luminess Breeze for a little over a month now (a few days past the return window) and here’s what I’m disappointed with:1. It does not provide the level of coverage it shows on their videos/ads. If you have dark circles, age spots, blemishes then it will not cover them with a few simple circular passes of the makeup spray. You will still need to use a concealer and finishing powder.2. You have to use more than a “few drops” of makeup to achieve anything but a very light coverage. (Think 10-12 drops).3. The makeup vials are expensive – $40 for one bottle of foundation, which given I am using about 4 times the “few drops” they suggest makes it more expensive than other high-end makeup. You may also need to add a makeup primer and cleaning solution to that cost.4. You really have to be diligent about cleaning the spray head after EVERY use. I figured I would try it for a month and always cleaned the spray head as suggested after every use but it still got partially clogged. I had to leave the cleaning solution sitting in the chamber overnight and then really work at it the next day to get it unclogged again. Not a good sign after only a month of use. Cleaning also adds to the time it takes to do your makeup.Overall I would not recommend this product to anyone.
