A Little Pricey – But Worth Every Penny
First of all, let me say that I am a skeptic about products saying what they can do. I ordered a small sample size of this the first time and tried it. It only takes a small dab and it covers a reasonable area, so since it doesn’t take much, this tube will last a good while. The smell is not pleasant, but not really that offensive. And the strange thing is that once you rub it on, you don’t smell it anymore. I am an elderly male and I wish some of my stinkin’ friends would buy this and I have recommended it to them. This is not meant to be a cover up for poor hygiene but for us who have stickin’ places and do not want to offend anyone else. I don’t want my grandkids memory of me to be of a stinkin’ person but instead to remember me to be a fun and loving grandpa. No matter your stink problem, this stuff works and if some reason that you cannot get a shower everyday, say a hospital patient, or bed ridden patient, this product works to 72 hours, so you can rest assured your not gonna’ stink. If you are like I was and skeptical, buy the .05 oz. trial size and try it. You won’t be disappointed. I also buy the solid stick deodorant with 72 hours of protection and I don’t stink. I am a Happy Pappy that doesn’t stink.

Finally found my holy grail of body washes
I’m always switching up my body washes in what feels like a never ending quest to find the perfect one. I think I may have found it with Lume. I don’t know what kind of wizardry was put into this formula…..?!!About my skin: I have dry skin, so I need a body wash that moisturizes. I typically stay away from what looks like a clear gel body wash (as this one is) due to that reason. In my mind, I tend to think they aren’t as moisturizing. I did finally decide to give this a go and a fair chance, while browsing yet again here on Amazon, for a oil based body wash. Note: this is not an oil based body wash but it came up in my search.My experiment was to use this product only and not follow up with a body lotion or body oil after I towel off, as I wanted to see how my skin would feel and react to it throughout the day.Not only did my skin feel a whole other level of clean. LIke, I have always thought previous body washes did a good job with that of course but wow, there is another level of clean guys and it feels divine! Like I said, I skipped any kind of body lotions and a body oil I tend to use after a shower also. So not only did this take clean to a new level but my skin was soft, comfortable, and did not dry out throughout the day and into the next day when I hopped back in the shower again to do it all over.Now I will not always skip the body lotion, the body butters, and the body oils. It was just my one, 24 hour experiment to see how my skin would react. I purchased the one bottle option of the Peony Rose NOT on subscribe and save. Just the one time purchase option to see if it would work for my dry skin. I’ve used Lume’s deodorant in this scent and I have always liked it. UNLIKE the deoderant, which does have that odd smell that accompanies it and turns people off (you know it does dissipate though, right? Just go with it cause the deodorant is great) The body wash DOES NOT have that odd smell. I’m sensitive to smells so if I can’t smell that odd smell, it’s just not there. When I opened my Amazon package of this, it was the one thing I wanted to see first. All I get is this soft and gorgeous scent of Peony Rose. I will say that the scent is very faint after you towel off and then the scent is not noticeable after a while, which is fine for me. This way it will not interfere with my perfume.I would give this 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend this incredible body wash!! If you do by chance feel you need more moisture for dry skin, you can always just put on the body lotion and potions afterwards. I came back today to get this on subscribe and save!

Lacking on odor control
I bought this body wash back in September of 2024 and it lasted me until March of 2025. I work in healthcare and do 12 hour shifts. Sometimes I come home smelling like I worked 20 straight hours in 95° weather, and majority of the time I will only be half way through my shift. I was hoping that this would perform some type of miracle. I tried the whole body deodorant in tangerine and wound up smelling like a sweaty orange at the end of the day… so I’m not sure why I thought this would be any better. My body is weird and will acclimate itself to deodorant and eventually stop working, therefore I have to switch up brands and scents every 3-6 months. Same goes with body wash.Pros: This body wash was gentle and kind to my skin and private areas. It has no scent, which is what I wanted. A little of this product goes a long way and lathers extremely well. This tube lasted me six months and all you need is a quarter size amount for your entire body. At the end of each use I definitely felt and smelled clean… and it would wipe away and get rid of any odor I had. Additionally, the packaging is nice and I had no problems with the tube leaking or any breakage.Cons: The odor banishing part that Lume heavily advertises did not last which I was most excited for (hence the 3 star review). Four hours into my shift and I was smelly already. It didnt keep the odor smell away as long as I expected it to. And for the price point, it should have done the job. Lume is not cheap, but I felt like Summer’s Eve would have done a better job at odor control than this. And, it would have been a heck of a lot cheaper.

This bodywash is insanely expensive but it works. I received a sample of the toasted coconut scented one from the company when I ordered direct and I absolutely 💯 love it.It makes me feel way cleaner than just soap. I use my regular body wash to start but I use Lume exclusively for pits and privates. Amazing and my pits no longer smells like remnants of my deodorant.No matter how much soap (bar or wash) I can always smell the faint smell of deodorant as if it’s not clean enough.This leaves them smelling clean.The smell doesn’t linger like other body washes but it does for short time. I also didn’t think I would enjoy the smell but was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t as I imagined it smelling.This two pack works out to be cheaper than buying two individual bottles. As for the leaking that many are complaining of on the reviews this can be remedied by simply closing the cap properly. It’s a snap cap. Use your desired amount and snap the lid back properly.I never had spillage or leakage with my first and none whatsoever with these.I would love to explore a less expensive option but it would have to be tested and approved my my gyno so for now I’ll still with this.A little goes a long way and as I’m only using it in three areas it will last a long time even with showering twice a day.Conclusion: It works. It’s expensive. Too expensive to be honest BUT, I love that confidence it brings out knowing you are super clean.
