5 Stars for Customer Service @ Vitamom. They expressed concern about the eye irritation I gotfrom using this product and shared several emails with me until it passed. They also promptly refunded me for the purchase.This product has Argan Oil in it. This truly baffles me. The skin around eye are is thin and there is no way I would put such an oil around my eyes. The product goes on clear and while I wash my eyes at night… gently as I normally do, it did not wash the dried product completely away. This liquid goes on clear being mostly HA. One night I noticed a kind of build up and began to remove with water and gently rubbing. A ‘piece’ of it got into my eye and irritated the eye and the surrounding area, so the next morning my eye was bloodshot and under eye was puffy. My eyes are NEVER like this. They remained red & puffy for the next 2-3 days. I discussed the use of Argan oil in eye product with a well trained European aesthetician who has worked with the best and she agreed with me that one should not use argan oil or any essential oil on the eyes. I understand there are different skin types. Mine is sensitive. However, years down the road the use of harsh or irritating products around the eye may quicken aging on the eyes. I use little makeup to be honest. Mainly mineral powder sunscreen and fill in eyebrows a little. I purchased this product (due to the “natural” ingredients) to see if it would lengthen my lashes. My lashes are thick enough. Take away from this scary ordeal: “be happy with what you got!” Better than risking eye injury.
