Handy, brightening—not bargain-rare BOOM sticks
I bought this, hoping it would be a bargain-rate BOOM trio: a handy little set for a quick, fresh, hydrated face. Note that I’m 56 and white as a hospital sheet. Fresh and hydrating only go so far on this face.I’ve played with these three sticks a bit and uploaded an indoor and outdoor picture of the results on an otherwise completely unmade face. That is: No eye makeup, no lipstick, no primer, no foundation, no fillers or Botox (obviously!). It’s not a magic trick, but I think it is what it says it is: a little flush to the cheek, a pop on the lip, a light sweep of sheen overall. It’s fine!In terms of quality, though, my sense is that while basic hues/effect is pretty similar to the original BOOM trio, these guys are not as hydrating or long lasting. They tend to slip off and away by midday, and your face just doesn’t feel as moisturized. It’s not a bargain if it’s not what you’re after.That said, I think the BOOM sticks are crazy overpriced for what they are. A set is convenient to order, but when there are individual sticks from different brands that do a lovely—more lovely—job for less per pop, it just isn’t worth it.

Didn’t work for me
They looked quite nice, but unfortunately, my skin reacted negatively to something in the ingredients. I don’t want to rate them too harshly because it might just be me.

Scented Color Sticks
Maybe I missed it in the description, and I can only speak to the Luminous Bordeaux sticks, but the color stick and highlighter both have a strong scent. I cannot tolerate scented products. There was no scent to the moisturizing stick.They are very creamy and easily applied. At least, I tried it on my hand first rather than my face. After some time, the scent did not go away.UPDATE: The moisturizer stick in this trio has 10 ingredients whereas the BOOM has only 4.I cannot return these as I threw out the packaging.I’m still searching for cosmetic sticks which are less expensive than the name brand which I had bought before.

Colors aren’t accurate!
The colors aren’t accurate. One is like a clear lipgloss and one is beige. So 1 out of the 3 I actually liked.

No soy muy experta en maquillaje, y esto de los tres colores a la vez se me hacía complicado. Pero no, ha sido sencillo de aplicar, se reparte muy fácil con una brocha normal, y el resultado es muy naturalCuando los abres, parecen demasiado brillantes, nacarados. Pero aplicados son muy suaves, muy bonitos.Queda un aspecto luminoso, pero discreto, de buena cara, sin ser sofisticado ni recargado.Imagino que si aplicas más producto, podrás tener un look más marcado, pero no he probado
