Wonderful flavor. I drink a cup every night. It is a detox tea. One that is not harsh. I have been drinking this for about 6 months and I tell a difference when I miss a cup. Very flavorful.I like that you help the women in Africa. I’m going to try the purple tea. Hopefully it’s just as good.

Surprisingly Lovely!
Wow! What a surprisingly great product. I really enjoy wasting my money on beverages and can say that this is probably superior brand of tea to David’s Tea, which probably isn’t saying much. However, I enjoy it much more than expensive teas procured from importers such as Upton Teas and enjoy it as much as Mariage Freres French Blue Earl Grey, my favorite Western tea of all time!It’s not super strong; it has a lovely lemon balm scent with peppermint aftertaste and comes in a cute little tin w. a spoon. Bought for 8.99 at Whole Foods, which I considered slightly overpriced at the time. Honestly, it’s quite reasonable, and it would be a great gift for a chronically ill friend!

Great smooth minty flavor
I love the tea? It has just the right blend of peppermint and smooth green tea. I usually have 12 ounces with one packet of truvia. It has a nice calming effect, so it is great on the weekends when I’m trying to relax. I also love the little wooden spoon that comes with it. It feels good to know that I’m supporting an artisan.

Cool story behind the product
I was looking for a new peppermint tea and this one caught my eye. The packaging is beautiful, but what really sold me is the story behind the tea. I love that my purchase provides jobs for women in Kenya. Makes me feel good about my purchase! Itâs a great price since you can refill the tin and itâs great for the environment too! As far as taste goes, I think it could be a bit stronger. I am going to try and add more to my next cup of tea. The taste is good, I just would like it to be a bit stronger.

Satisfying Purchase
As soon as I opened the container I was hit by a blast of mint. The spoon is the perfect size for fitting in the container, and even when I run out I plan to reuse the container for tea leaves (Justea has a refill option, but I’ll probably buy locally).Great tea, and I love the responsible practice behind it, both ethically and environmentally.

Honestly not impressed. The taste of lemongrass is overpowering and there isn’t enough zing from the pepermint have to use way to many scoops.

We have bought other peppermint tea from JusTea (in a tin) and it was delicious. I would stay away from this. The leaves are huge so you need the correct infuser for it to steep but even then after steeping for 10 minutes this tea has little to no flavour.

It makes me really sad to write this, but unfortunately I had to stop drinking this tea because it severely upset my stomach. I won’t go into details, but for about a week my stomach was very upset and now that I’ve stopped drinking the tea my stomach is fine. This tea tastes great though, and I loved the mix of the peppermint and lemongrass and the handmade spoon. I really wish I could continue drinking this tea but for some reason it just did not sit well with my body.
