really made my fried hair look and feel soft
I’ve tried a lot of serious conditioners and treatments for my hair which has started to get pretty fried due to too much flat ironing. I was not impressed by OPALEX; this was less expensive and very effective. I have thick hair so it didn’t last too long, I’m going to see if there is a larger size for next order.

My hair us bleached and colored and this product helps to restore the lost moisture in my hair. Leaves hair soft shiny and smells great. Great quality fir the price. Helps with tangling of the hair. Its nice and thick so it can be left on long enough to help protect treated hair. It lasts thru till the next shampoo. Love it will buy it again.

Bye bye breakage! Joico Reconstruction kit really works!
I bought the whole Joico reconstruct kit on amazon and I’m so happy I did! Fact is that my hair was bleached in a salon, but it somehow destroyed my hair. Every time I had to wash my hair, it was a nightmare! I tried Therapiste from Kerastase first for no big difference, then I tried Penettraitt from Sebastian and saw some improvement on the hydration side, not so much on the reconstruction side. Additionally, I tried BC Bonacure pepitide repair nourishing and was able to see good improvement but still some breakage. Finally, Joico got me tremendous improvement on hydration and reconstruction in just one application!!! Im AMAZED!!! The secret, in my case, was to apply the joico kpak cuticle sealer and the deep penetraiting reconstructor masque twice. I also used the Joico kpak clarifying shampoo as the first step plus the Joico kpak intense hydrating masque as the last. Finished with Pureology color fanatics leave in spray and Kerastase blond absolu oil.THE RESULTS: My hair had almost no breakage while blowdrying, it was extremely shiny and super soft. I wish I knew that Joico treatment 3 months ago!

Love this stuff. Pricey, but so worth it! I don’t even spend this much on face moisturizer, lol.A long time ago, a hairdresser needed to strip my hair twice, and I was told that my hair would never be the way it was.Well, I wanted to prove that person wrong. I’ve done my best to take great care of my hair through the years. I rarely blow-dry it and don’t wash it every day.I use this product whenever I wash my hair. I know it’d be good to use something else sometimes and use this once a week or so, but I love it. I feel that it works well.It helps tremendously with tangles and it smells great, too.I don’t curl my hair often, but when I do, I use very little of this product (or none) because I want the curl to last as long as possible. Because the product is slick, I feel that it could weigh down curls. I don’t know if it truly does.One of my pictures is with light shining on my hair, and the other is in the dark.

This product is a wonderful product along with another Joico Tx it helps your damaged hair become as close to normal as any I have tried. And believe me when I say that I have tried alot over the past 3 months! My hair had become fried due to iron loss in my blood, and I was not aware until later that this effects your nails and hair. I thought I had fried it from a straightner, but I just could not wrap my mind around how and when I had done this due to the fact that I had beeen using a straightner for yrs and this had never happened to me before, as I always tried to be careful. But the fact remained that my hair was damaged and I had to do something, I did alot of research and this product kept coming up, so I decided to give it a try. The first time I used it I wasn’t to sure about it because it made my hair even feel drier than before. What I did not understand is that it puts protein back in your hair and it will make it very dry feeling after you wash it off, almost feels as if there is no oil/moisture in your hair, so the next time I used it I made sure I had a great moisture conditioner on my hair after I used it and that helps the dry feeling go away. With this Tx and along with the Joico recovery moisture Balm Tx before you dry your hair so makes your hair feel soft and healthy to the the touch. Just so you know it does smell like very ripe bananas.

Really works!
This is the only conditioner I use. After a shower, there is virtually no hair in the drain, and no tangles when brushing. If I do use another product, the drain is clogged with hair, and it takes a long time to detangle. The downside is this is very expensive and smells weird, but it really does work!

I love this conditioner and I am not easily impressed by beauty products… This reconstructor made my dyed/fried hair alive and smooth after ONE use.Here’s what happened: I had natural medium ash blond hair and I was very happy with it until I started to get grays in it. It really started showing, so I’ve decided to have blond highlights done at a salon, which turned out wonderful. But after about 6-8 weeks my roots started showing and I didn’t have enough money to have a professional retouch, so I used a home highlight kit (with the cap) that turned me into bleached blond (which is REALLY not my color as I have fair white skin) and dried my hair out extremely. But I couldn’t live with that color as it made me look like a corpse :), so I used a semi permanent med brown to color the white blonde back to a relatively livable color. Well… I managed to turn my hair into a brassy yellowish mess. I could stand it for three days, then got a color remover kit and removed the brown. At this point my hair looked like those hay bails on Halloween: coarse, dry and unmanageable. So I was back to the bleached blond color with hair so brittle it broke while I brushed it. SO finally, I ordered Joico K-pak, applied it to my damp hair (as soon as the mailman dropped it off) left it on for 5 minutes, rinsed with cool water and now my hair is soft and manageable again after all that abuse. So I’ll be soon ready for my rescue color! Thank Goodness! 🙂

El secreto es secar el pelo con una toalla antes de ponerlo. Después lo peinas para que se distribuya uniformemente y lo dejas reposar media hora y después enjugas. Es importante usar acondicionador o una mascarilla para finalizar. También se puede aplicar en seco; una pequeña cantidad diluida en aceite de árgan de medios a puntas para quitar el frizz e hidratar entre shampoos.

The smell is not overwhelming which I enjoy! I have a lot of chemical damage and I swear this is the only thing saving my hair AND making it feel soft. I leave it on for 5ish minutes instead of conditioner. I also use the other products in this Joico line.
