Transformative!
Iâve been using this brand for almost a year, primarily another color- protect shampoo along with the blonde life purple shampoo. The winter and hard well water has made my hair very dry, and probably from using the purple shampoo, too. I bought this to repair it, and Iâm impressed after just 4 washes. My hair isnât frizzy, brittle, or so dry and for the first time in years itâs incredibly soft and has volume. I have baby fine, dirty blonde hair thatâs greying, so I use a filtered shower head. Iâm very happy with the transformation in such a short time, and will now only use the purple shampoo once a week as needed.

Glad I Tried
I was hesitant to try this, but honestly, it gas worked great for my hair. It doesn’t leave my hair oily. My hair seems more healthy and silky after using it. The smell is nice and not overwhelming. Defantly a great value for your money. I would highly recommend trying it if your on the fence.

Iâve been using this shampoo for a long time now and I just love the smell! Some of the other joico ones donât smell very good to me, but this one is wonderful. Itâs a mild scent compared to some other ones, which I really like. I like the bottle too and the way it opens. Itâs easy to open unlike some other shampoo and conditioner bottles. It lasts forever because you only need a little bit. Makes my hair feel nice and moisturized, and shiny. I have fine hair but a decent amount of it. My hair is also wavy to curly. For context.I donât use the conditioner, as I donât really need to.

Love this brand and their products in general they work wonders for my hair however it came frozen but they spent the night in the delivery truck so they froze and kind of exploded and I had to thaw them in warm water it did work it smelled normal and the texture was fine so it getting frozen didnât ruin it and I was able to use but yeah that kind of sucked but worth it also the price is sooo expensive but it is a good product

Purchased the Shampoo and Conditioner and wow is this a game changer. Helps to repair your dry and damaged hair and protects your color. Great on my curly hair and leaves my hair without a build up which is important. Great price for such a big bottle! Recommended by my hairdresser and of course, had to come to Amazon to get a better price. You won’t be disappointed getting this Joico Defy Damage Shampoo and Conditioner.

This shampoo is expensive. After reading the reviews, I purchased this on the amazon prime deal. It has made such a difference to my hair. It looks healthier and fuller.Even my husband commented after I washed it two times with this shampoo.

Save your money people, this product can be purchased way cheaper in stores than from here. I was an idiot and just assumed that this bottle would be a NORMAL size like it should have been – because yet again … it is in stores. However, this is a tiny bottle that would maybe do 4 shampoos if you really ration it heavy or you have a really tiny head or hardly any hair. Joico itself is an excellent brand but certainly not worth what I paid for this small amount, this is the same price as what regular sized bottles sell for in stores.

I love this shampoo! It has a luscious lather with the perfect amount of slip for my type 4 hair. I can easily detangle my hair with this if I choose to. It cleanses my hair without leaving it stripped. I pre-pooed with the Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm then shampooed with this. My hair was incredibly soft and manageable. It also made my balayaged hair look more vibrant and shiny. Shampoos with slip are incredibly important to me but because of my colour-treated hair I also needed something that was sulfate-free. This is great and I highly recommend it.
