    Effective joint support
    I’ve been taking Jarrow’s Formula Collagen Type II for a while, and I’ve noticed an improvement in my joint comfort and flexibility. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I appreciate that there are no unnecessary fillers. While the results aren’t instant, with consistent use, I can feel a difference.     Seems positive
    Hard to definitively say this is helping regrow or strengthen my collagen and bones in my joints but I feel a difference anyhow. Less creaky and snaps, joints feel slightly more supported and less fragile after first month of use. Over six months I expect to see even better results, so its not totally useless. Recommend.

    Collagen type 2 is what our joints are made out of, thus it consists of the amino acids and other ingredients needed for to rebuild and/repair our joints.I recommend taking with MSM and Vitamin C to help trigger collagen synthesis and you have the perfect trio.There are many types of collagen (i.e. jello is made up of mostly types 1 & 3) and collagen type 2 should be taken by itself because additional types of collagen will compete against each other.I’m disabled after 4 failed spinal fusions. I constantly have to use my arms to lift myself up, decompress my spine, and to stabilize myself from the waist up, much like a paraplegic.Because of this constant pressure, wear and tear on my shoulders I now have a tear in my right labrum, which is made up of cartilage (collagen type 2). I can’t have shoulder surgery or I won’t even be able to even get out of bed.In addition to my physical therapy I have spent literally hundreds of hours online researching (mostly PubMed) how to repair labrum tears, without surgery.My research has concluded that growth hormone inter muscular sight injections as being the most effective means of repairing joint damage. However, if you’re like myself who’s not a multi-millionaire and are unable to afford going to a Hormone Replacement Clinic. Then Collagen type 2 + msm + Vitamin C is theoretically your next best option, in combination with physical therapy.It has greatly reduced my shoulder pain and increased my range of motion, but I won’t know to what extent until I go for my next MRI.I hope my long review is helpful.

    Works for People and Horses
    Honestly I was looking for something to help for my horse who has restricted mobility in one joint. The veterinary research indicates that Type II Collagen has been clinically proven to improve flexion in arthritic joints https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20444013/. I got this Collagen to try on my horse, and within just a couple of weeks both the vet and the ferrier noticed that she has improved in her joint flexion. She is even able to be ridden again.Having been injured in a farm accident and suffering with knee and hip pain for over a year, I decided to try it on me. I have been taking it for almost a month and I am AMAZED that I am not having any pain or stiffness, even when it rains or when I have been sitting for a long time. This stuff has proven very effective, and as a bonus it seems to have helped make my fingernails stronger as well. It is much less expensive than some of the blends out there, and it clearly does the job. I will be reordering.

    Sounded Good, Couldn’t Tell Difference
    Almost done with the 2nd bottle of this. I wanted it to work, to benefit me somehow. I honestly can’t tell a difference in joint comfort, which is what this type of collagen is supposed to address. It’s hard to say what type of person this helps and if it’s more of a placebo effect or really does repair or help rebuild cartlidge. Maybe you have to take more than 2 bottles…but I don’t want to spend money subscribing for this product, if I’m not 100% sure some benefit is taking place.

    Helps my Ankle Pain!
    I had a complex ankle fracture a few years ago that needed major surgery. I love to run and my doctor recommended a type 2 collagen to help with my production of joint collagen. I noticed a huge difference when taking this every day/ every other day. I can run a couple of miles now and barely notice I ever had surgery on my one ankle. A lot of that I attribute to my amazing surgeon and some of the rest of it I attribute to this amazing vitamin.
