Pleasantly surprised
I love this stuff! I can never find a color of lipstick that I like on me but this stuff is perfect. I think it just deepens your natural color and makes it brighter. I also usually hate the feeling of sticky lip stuff but this is smooth and hydrating and feels great. The stain lasted long too!

Subtle Natural looking Color
Forever Pink – My skin is warm, fair-medium and it added a nice flush of color and light glow on my checkbones and brow bone. Looks natural and is buildable, but you don’t need much. Wait a few minutes before adding more. It lasted all day and feels light on your skin. Love it on skin.Lips: If your lips are very dry, you need to exfoliate dry lips first or it will pill on your lips. It’s not drying on lips, but not very moisturizing either. I like the color on my pale lips as it makes them look darker and still very natural and subtle. The only downside is it doesn’t last long on my lips, but nothing does. After the morning application, I’d rather reapply a $5 tinted balm in my pocket that I can use all day for more moisture.I’d still reorder it, but only because I think it looks very good on skin. If your lips aren’t on the dry side, it may last a long time and is great for a more natural look.

Great lipstick/lip balm
Hydrating, light, long lasting lip balm. The color develops after the application and adds a nice rosy shade to your lips. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is the price. This is a very small lip balm and itâs way more expensive than other brands.

Waaay overpriced
The product has a pleasant, mild fragrance, but is essentially no more than a very slightly tinted chapstick. Will not buy again.Update 3 months later: I still use the product, but want to add that this is a very sheer pH lip stain; not red, but a pleasant watermelon-like color, as depicted in the product’s photo. I have tried other “mood lipsticks” and find them to be the same type of product as the Jane Iredale. I would buy it again, but I still believe this product is waaaaay overpriced!

I absolutely love this lipstick. The color is beautiful. When you first apply it the color is very light but it darkens with time.The packaging is perfect for carrying in my small purse.I highly recommend it. The only negative is that I wish it were more moisturizing.Oh, it smells lovely and does not have a bad taste either. ðº
