Not mint; it’s bubblegum
I can’t attest to its whitening power as I couldn’t stand the taste of this toothpaste. It states it’s fresh mint, the container says “aroma: fresh mint”, but it is NOT mint. It’s bubblegum, I felt like I was using children’s toothpaste.From the time that I did use this toothpaste, It did not irritate the sensitivity of my teeth and it did clean well.Overall, it is not worth this price for false advertising as this is not mint.

taste could be improved
Some people don’t trust flouride, so a toothpaste that contains hydroxyapatite is a must. I personally do trust flouride to harden my tooth enamel, but I don’t trust flouride in drinking water, because my insides don’t need hardening. Anyway, apparently the best result for tooth enamel actually comes from a combination of hydroxyapatite with flouride, but not by mixing them together. So I decided to try this toothpaste with a flouridated mouthwash, in hopes of building stronger tooth enamel.The taste is not my favorite. Though it claims to be mint, it takes a while for the mint taste to catch up with the bland, somewhat chemical taste, though it’s not a truly terrible taste. That is the only downside to this toothpaste (why I docked a star), combined with the fact that the toothpaste is made in China. The company is honest enough to put this on the label as well as the direct address, so they get points for honesty. In 2007, the FDA told consumers to throw away toothpaste from China, because it contained “diethylene glycol”, a compound found in antifreeze. China banned the use of that ingredient in toothpaste the same year, and it is not listed in the ingredients for this toothpaste. However, my discovery of this history after I got this toothpaste (when I saw this was made in China) will, admittedly, have me throwing away the rest of my tube, even though this toothpaste is probably fine, because of uncertainty about safety standards.
