hunters specialties scent driver
Works great. The wafers definitely help with scent control. There was a bit of a hum/rattling noise after the first use. I took it apart and found the motor was a little loose in the holder. I took it out and wrapped it once in cloth tape and put it back in. It is now snug and makes zero noise. Update 4/2023 if it is freezing or below it makes a whirring noise. Not loud but not silent either.

It seems to really push out the cover scent blade wafer or in my case I use the two hot does. We will see how many bucks respond. Had does in to it already. I am a little concerned about the slight hum the unit makes. Hope it doesnât spook a big buck away at close range.

I love the idea of this little fan But it is very noisy do to poor construction of the motor to the housing. No way I would try to us it for hunting. Maybe I got a bad one??

Almost Perfect
Great scent system, proven cover scent buuuuut. I really had high hopes for this based off previous success with the wafers. The system seemed great but started making some noise after a couple days of use. It dispersed the earth scent very well in the blind but because of the little motor it started making some noise, not a bunch and it probably isn’t detectable outside a blind but the low humming sound became kind of annoying. Also had to be careful what you set it on top of because that humming became amplified on the floor or any shelves we had. Set it on a wadded up T-shirt and that seemed to work pretty well. I would recommend this if you are ok with a low humming sound

The Good:Works really well. You can pick up the scent on calm days. The challange: aaa batteries it is packed with may last one Day they are some unknown brand so have real back up nane brand batteries ready. The packaging is very, very, very hard to open. Be careful using a knife as you can puncture the foil the dirt wafer packed in. The foil is not resealable anyway so you will find you need to buy the three wafers packed in the lockable plastic case. This case helps recharge the wafer so it is a good option to buy. It comes with a lanyard so you can hang from your stand or on a limb. I recommend the dirt waftes in the new Scent Driver!

5 star for concept, not 100% sure it’s better than the wafer
I am a huge fan of the scent wafers made by hunter specialties. I bought two of these and the fresh earth scent wafers just to see if there was an advantage over the regular wafer made to pin to your clothes, gear or blind. Since ithis fan is powered by a tiny motor, I’m not sure that the scent can carry too far on a windy day. Maybe with no wind and hunting, this can disperse a scent out a good few feet from your blind. They also sell 180 doe estrus and two hot doe scent wafers for this and they might be ideal for this fan. I’m sure if you place this little scent fan in a tree or somewhere near where you’re hunting, it may just do the trick in bringing ithe big bucks your way. I’ll follow up after next deer season.
