Maximum-Strength Acne Body Wash: Formulated with 10% benzoyl peroxide, Humane Maximum-Strength Acne Wash is a potent face and body cleansing treatment that targets the primary cause of acne growth and combats excessive oil production. Do not use if you have sensitive skin. 8 FL. OZ. bottle
Treats Adult Acne and Teen Acne: This non-foaming (SLS-free) cleanser can be used for face acne, back acne, butt acne and cystic acne.
One Proven Ingredient: We harnessed the healing powers of benzoyl peroxide to help clear and prevent blackheads, whiteheads, pimples and other types of inflammatory acne, while easing redness. It also helps to increase cell turnover by removing the mixture of excess oil, dead skin and debris that clogs pores.
How to Use: Once or twice daily, apply an even layer of Acne Wash to damp skin and gently massage. Let sit for 1 minute initially and gradually increase to 2-3 minutes if you aren’t seeing results. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. We recommend testing 1 or 2 small, affected areas for 3 days prior to beginning regular treatment to avoid possible irritation.
Simple Yet Effective: A proud member of PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program, we harness the healing powers of potent ingredients to get you real results with vegan and cruelty-free ingredients. You won’t find parabens, phthalates, sulfates (SLS and SLES), paraffin, formaldehyde, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance/color, petrolatum, DEA, triclosan, or GMOs in our products. Made in the USA.
Minimal-Ingredient Philosophy: When it comes to skincare, less is definitely more. So we limit our ingredient lists to only those required to do the job really well. Absolutely nothing without a specific purpose, and never anything trendy just for the sake of being, well, trendy.

Best cleanser ever
I have been using this since middle school and I am22 now. I started using it as a normal face wash but now that Iâve built up my skin, I put my moisturizer on and then put this on my face and sleep in it. If I have a breakout it clears it up within 1-2 days. Iâll never go back !!!! I LOVE this product

Great Product
This is an awesome cleanser. I previously used panxoly but I was running through every 3-4 weeks because I do double cleanse twice a day. First I use an oil based cleanser than I use this cleanser as my 2nd cleanse. Works great and I love size. Should last a while. My only complaint will be is the pump. It does feel super cheap. Not sure how long it will hold up. I just feel that is Iâm paying $45.00 for a product the pump should be durable. However the packing was great it wasnât damaged.

Better than Panoxyl, Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Oxy, and more! Quality Benzoyl Peroxide to help with Adult Acne!
Pros:- Unscented- High quality and effective 10% benzoyl peroxide- Good consistency for easy application to the face- Easy to wash off- Large bottle with easy to use “duckbill” dispenserCons:- Slightly harsh and can dry your skinPersonal Experience:I am a male in my early 30’s and have had issues with facial acne since my teenage years. I always expected it to just go away as I got older, but that never did quite happen. I learned to manage it over the years by trying to get good sleep, maintain stress, eat healthy, and to regularly wash my face. Over the years, I have literally tried over a hundred different products (face masks, creams, oils, retinol, glycolic acid, glycerin face washes, clay, tea tree oil, aloe, salicyclic acid, spot treatments, etc) from every imaginable brand in every price range. For years, nothing worked consistently until I came across AcneFree’s benzoyl peroxide “Leave on Foam” that came in an aerosol can. It literally changed my life and was the single product that worked. Unfortunately, the product has since been discontinued and I was on the hunt again. My dermatologist simply stated that all benzoyl peroxides are the same, and the form of delivery is the only thing that really changes (whether it’s a foam, spray, cream, spot treatment, or wash), but I came to suspect that this was only partly true. Your face can respond differently to the delivery system used, and companies can use varying qualities of benzoyl peroxide in their products. For me, benzoyl peroxide seemed to be the most effective active ingredient for my acne, so I proceeded to try product after product all over again that contained varying percentages of benzoyl peroxide (from 2.5% to 10%) in different delivery forms. To be honest, I still have yet to find something as good as the AcneFree “Leave on Foam”, but I was pleased to finally find the Humane Benzoyl Peroxide 10% wash. As of now, this face wash is 1 of three benzoyl peroxide washes that I have found to be effective for me. The other 2 being Panoxyl and Topix Benzoyl Peroxide. Panoxyl dries out my skin too much, so I have stopped using it. I am not sure if I like this better than Topix (also an excellent choice), so I will continue to see over time. The Humane Benzoyl Peroxide is unscented (actually has a faint benzoyl peroxide smell, but it is not unpleasant), is easy to apply and wash off your face, and most importantly, it has worked to keep my skin clear. I haven’t had a single pimple while using this. My only complaint is that the Humane Benzoyl Peroxide wash dries out my face (not as much as Panoxyl, but more than Topix). I recommend using a quality facial lotion shortly after washing your face with Humane. Conclusion:After trying nearly (if not over) 100 products for acne, the Humane Benzoyl Peroxide 10% face wash is one of the best and most effective. It uses high quality benzoyl peroxide, is easy to apply and wash off, comes in a large size, and it works!** Helpful Tip: Some reviewers have mentioned that Benzoyl Peroxide can bleach your clothes, towels, and pillow cases. This is absolutely true. I recommend NOT using this in the shower because any left on your face will bleach your shower towels. Instead, I wash my face once in the morning and right before bed and use a white face towel to dry my face (a 30-pack is quite affordable at Costco). In terms of clothes, just don’t touch your clothes until your hands are completely dry, and don’t let the collar of your shirts touch what you wash off of your face. As for your pillow cases, as long as you dry your face well with the white face towel, you shouldn’t have any major issues.

This product is not for me but I still recommend it just to try.
I used Proactiv for over 7 years. It was pretty costly but it worked and gave me confidence. I stopped using them mid last year 2017 when they canceled my membership without any warning, even after calling them to discuss a possible issue but after being reassured by one of their representatives that their wasn’t one, I let it go thinking that there wasn’t. After 7 years of being a loyal member to them, it just wasn’t a good feeling. After Googling what I need to be acnefree in terms of product, I realized all I really needed was a really good facial wash product and a waterbased moisturizer. I started with a Neutrogena facial wash, and while it worked fine for the first 5 days, I think it was just Proactiv wearing off, as after those five days I would get these white small acne throughout my face but especially around the mouth. It wasn’t working out that well despite the decent reviews.I decided to go back and look again. I found this product and another product that was pill based. Both have a ton of reviews and the average rating left both at 5-stars. I’m not a huge fan of taking pills. I’ve found I normally feel sick afterwards and I don’t like putting things into my body unless it’s real food. I just better. So I chose this one and I am super glad I did. It is perfect. The first step of Proactiv and the third step both have Benzoyl Peroxide for a combined total of 5%. My skin was already adjusted to Benzoyl Peroxide and this product has 5% more. My skin gets tight but it doesn’t get red. I use Neutrogena’s waterbased moisturizer and it works flawlessly with this product. A lot of the time you may get white residue after and/or skin peeling and need to use a wet towel to go over them to get rid of it but with that moisturizer I don’t need to. It goes on really smoothly.I don’t have acne anymore. I’m saving a ton of money and just as importantly, if not moreso, I’m saving A LOT more time. Proactiv was a three step process twice a day, and including the Green Tea Moisturizer that I would get with it (if you can afford to, it’s the best moisturizer I have ever used, and lasts 2-3 months), would make it a 4-step process. It was extremely time consuming and frustrating. Now with this facial wash and my moisturizer, it’s a 2-step process in the morning and a 1-step process before bed. With this Human Benzoyl’s product, I use it twice a day. Once in the morning after breakfast and I apply moisturizer after and a second time before bed without moisturizer. If I planned on going out or even just eating again, I would apply moisturizer. I’ve found that if you don’t apply moisturizer and you’re going to be making a lot of facial expressions (smiling, talking, eating, laughing) you’re significantly more likely to have a breakout the following day, or that same day if you do that in the morning. On it’s own, this is a perfect product. With a moisturizer that works for you, it becomes the perfect acne treatment around.UPDATE. I don’t know what happened. It’s now a 3-star product for me. Maybe the Proactiv I was using for 7 years was just “wearing off” or something but now I get a decent amount of acne, especially around the bottom parts of my mouth and chin and neckline, with some on the lower ends of my cheeks. But now it’s not just acne, they’re whiteheads. I’ve never had an issue with whiteheads before until now. And because they’re whiteheads you want to pop them, even though you probably really shouldn’t, but if you don’t, you have a face of whiteheads (I have 4 really decent size ones right now) and it’s pretty embarrassing when you’re at work or school or with friends/family, or just grabbing something to eat. I am using their toner also to see if it helps, and I believe it does but not enough to make me stick with this brand. I’m going to what I used to use (sadly). It’s costly but it works.I will say this though that this product is at least worth a try if you’re looking for acne treatment, or a new one.

Great quality wash. But the soap dries inside the nozzle and it’s difficult to get out sometimes. Need to change the packaging but overall it’s worth it.
